SONY 35mm f1.8 OSS - THIS LENS IS SO CREAMY

he is literally talking about stabilisation and showing shots with a gimbal...

This was my first ever lens with a6700
And man i am in love with from the first shot i took which was for my son the details of his face is just beautiful
Sharp , compact and light
I have the new 23 sigma 1.4 ( night street photography) and the 56 mm sigma 1.4 ( queen of portraits)
But the 35 mm 1.8 oss is my to-go when i want to go freely all around the town .

Is this compatible with the sony zv-e10?

When you go close to the camera to check the autofocus and the part where there is the lady having her eyebrows done why do they look so different? Like different lense/camera? Is it the ratio or what is it? And how do i achieve that movie look you achieved with the lady having her eyebrows done with this lense? Any help is appreciated im really new to filmmaking so just learning! Great review!

I'm a beginner, is this good for videography?

I own both the Sigma 30 1.4 and this lens, and I like the Sigma more for shooting in low light (indoor concerts in smaller venues), but I like the Sony for shooting video. Definitely worth having both if you can!

I owned this lens in the far past. I bought it new, but I was never convinced with its unimpressive OSS, soft sharpness at full f/1.8 and high longitudinal chromatic aberration. Yesterday I decided to give this lens in combo with an ultra small A5100 a new chance Your pictures and footage are looking very nice in this video. I hope I will get a similar look in my pictures. I will take the small package with me in the holidays 🌎🏖

just got this lens today from a pawn shop for $125 bucks like new. I'm in love already even tho it's a crop im using it on my A7c.

My favourite lens without any doubt! Love the fact that is less sharp than the Sigma because I love vintage feel in my images.📸

My favourite lens for my A6100. When space is limited, it's the only lens I take travelling. It is also great value for money.

The biggest issue with this lens is heavy purple fringing and aberrations

I agree with you. With all the features of this lens, there isnt much of cons you can talk about. Its a perfect choice wether you're professional photographer or hobby. I'll this over the sigma because of the oss feature. Also, this native lens to the sony body, therefore, the autofocus and focusing in general will be more reliable than Sigma trio. However, Sigma still a great choice. I personally owned Sign 16mm 1.4. A bit wife for street photography but perfect choice for vlog and landscape photos.

Nice review sir..just wanna ask..i got my A6500 with ibis on it..does combination ibis and oss lens makes video stabilization even better or just the same with no oss lens?

You do a great job of showing the products capabilities whilst talking about it - unlike many other channels, who just love talking without demonstrating.

Nekem is a6400-am és egy 18-105 zoom objektívem van. Most tervezek venni egy fix, jó fényerejű objektívet és kezdő fotósként én is erre a 35mm-esre gondoltam. Most te is megerősítetted, hogy jó választás. Ha meglesz, remélem elég lesz ez a kettő és megállok ennyinél :) Remélem, hogy az OSS jobb, mint a 18-105-ben, mert azzal még nem nagyon sikerült kézből elfogadható videót készíteni.
