it keeps getting into my recommendation...i watched to see if there is something important...kids games.. learned that before i was 10 years old. grow up
ОтветитьTerrific i'm an "old" shooter. my friend has a new sig we could not figure out why he was shooting low at 25ft ??
Thank you for teaching these basic steps !! We are Subscribers
I'm new to pistol shooting brilliant video explained
ОтветитьWell thank you , A comprehensive explanation for beginners to aim your pistol. Much apprieciated .
ОтветитьGreat video 😊
ОтветитьExcellent video. Your instruction was spot on..A+ young man..
ОтветитьI spent over 55 years shooting, Dad trained. Boy Scouting trained with shooting merit badge, Military Police trained, 20 years retired and civilian Law Enforcement trained 25 years and retired from that also, and at 67 I thought I knew it all, but I still learn things about shooting through programs like this. Keep up the good training.
ОтветитьBut shouldn't be there also alignment for red dot too ? What will be happen an example your eyes is below or above of your red dot attached line ? Won't be there deviation ?? I believe also you need a reference point in red dot too for angle deviation ?
ОтветитьI shot bullseye for many years and I used a six o’clock hold.
ОтветитьI got my kid the BB P365 and just so happens you used it as a representation. 😂
Ответитьhow do you know what type of sights you have ?
ОтветитьIf you are using the rear sight...there is a better/faster way. The front is all you need. Look straight down the top of your gun and place front sight where you want the round to go.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this! I bought a P365 and have been having trouble learning how to aim and shoot. This is very helpful! I'm looking forward to checking out your other videos.
ОтветитьGreat video. How about one eye open vs two?
ОтветитьWhat holster do you have? I recently got a Sig P365X and found your channel. Not enough people talk about holsters which, IMHO, are just as important for EDC than the gun itself.
ОтветитьYou failed to cover focusing on the front sight. I'm pretty old and was always taught the 6 o'clock hold, but then again I imagine that depends on what type of target.
Ответить🤙🤙🤙🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
ОтветитьI am somewhat new to firearms, but I always wondered where you should align your sights on the target. Target above the sight or sight on top of the target. Great video.
ОтветитьA question I have and never see addressed is how do you properly view your sights? Do you close an eye? Both eyes open, etc…? How to focus? Thank you for the great video
ОтветитьGood instructions
ОтветитьIm watching this video due to the fact that i have been told two different ways of how to aim with iron sights they told me to build a tower or align and i never new witch one was correct
ОтветитьHow can you do that when your shooting for competition? Doesn’t that take too much time to line up
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьGreat video, I'm a total noob but everything was clear and easy to understand. Thanks for the tutorial, please keep these videos going
ОтветитьFirst time viewer and subscriber. Great video on iron and red dot shooting. One question I saw your steel targets, and I am wondering if the left 2 were misplaced. They are either in fron of or close to rock formations behind the target. This seems dangerous to me because of a ricochet. Please comment.
ОтветитьYou can aim a laser around a corner.. best of both
ОтветитьGreat information
Ответитьtop edge? I always thought you're supposed to put your target BEHIND the dot on the front sight...(that's combat hold, and apparently my gun isn't combat hold) so that's why I keep missing some shots on my bb lol
bbguns are really good for practicing tho, I got an actual gun not long ago but don't really have time to go to the range, I just can't pick the 9mm up and shoot at some random stuff in my yard either hahaha
Excellent class you explain the topic excellent
ОтветитьWill everything change the further you shoot and if the weather is windy?
Ответить"firearm" just sounds better than "gun"...
ОтветитьI watch this seriously as if I own a gun.
ОтветитьThe dot shooters should hope the battery don't go bad.
ОтветитьI was in a mp unit this is super basic but great for civilians
Ответитьthanks man it helped a ton
ОтветитьI’m old school, learned to shoot a revolver in the 1968 police academy. Iron sights on my issued Colt service revolver and continued doing things the same way, even when we transitioned to the Glock in the ‘80s, through to retirement 30 yrs later. I don’t care for hanging a bunch of high tech stuff on the gun in hopes of improving my score.
ОтветитьWhat about cross dominant? Right handed shooter, left eye dominant with a red dot
Focus target with left eye and superimpose dot on right eye? Or vice versa?
My Walther PPQ Q5 Match SF came from the factory as a combat hold. They all are I believe. It was sighted at 25m and was pretty much spot on from round 1. 🤓🇦🇺
ОтветитьYour content is really excellent! Thanks!
ОтветитьMy cousin is the president of France and he always kills pigeons with a spear made out of a sharpened baguette
ОтветитьI am a 300 year old vampire witch and this is what our VW academy instructors always taught us
ОтветитьThanks for your tip.
ОтветитьYou can't own a firearm without following this channel. Hands down the best informational station on guns
ОтветитьExcellent training video!!
ОтветитьAs someone just now getting back into guns, the red dot was a mystery to me. This explanation is gold. Thank you and great video. Subbed!
ОтветитьGreat vid and useful info for most pistols, but I got a Kahr CW45 pistol about 10 years ago and I had a hell of a time figuring out how to accurately shoot the 'dotted i' style sights on Kahr pistols. I got pretty good with it but I still dont like the 'dotted i' sights and wont buy any gun that has them. I guess it must be just me and a few other misguided shooters that don't like them as I notice different companies offer that 'dotted i' sight picture as an aftermarket 'upgrade'.
