I'm a bit poorly this week so sorry if I don't sound as up-beat in the commentary!
Also, before any intellectuals comment about how I say Mun and not Mün, it's because it is not called Mün anywhere in the game except on the title screen with the crashed lander. The devs say Mun, the map screen and science reports say Mun, in fact every single mention of it in the game is written without the Umlaut. Thank you for understanding.
good advise but please slow down and say what your placing as you place it not after i have to keep going back to see what you placed bc i don't know the name only the look
Ответитьaaaand what to do if i land on the side because i cant use damn sas as bob? everytime i try to flip myself i exlopde
ОтветитьFord snynody have a tip for mE? Here is the Problem. i built my own rocket but mine has nearly the exacly same lander as Matt's. the only thing is that instead of the sience junior i got a Fl-(i dont remember the number) but its the same size as the Jr. the only big diffirence is that i have a small monopropelant tank and a fe RCS thrusters. and 5 landing legs becose 4 didnt work. i land verticaly with 4 m/s and my rocket always tips over and crashes. any tips?
ОтветитьMan i still can't frickin get even close to the moon
ОтветитьI ended up crashing in to the mün
ОтветитьIs it just me or do I always get less science then Matt and have to go to some random biome on Kerben or minmus to get enough
ОтветитьAhhhhh the nostalgia of repeatedly watching this video when I was a beginner in 2020!
I mean I still am a beginner XD
I love how on x1.5 speed Matt sounds really Kerbally 😁
ОтветитьIt doesn’t work to me
ОтветитьThe tut is awesome but how do you turn sas on while you have no pilot on board
ОтветитьI found it easier to fly a beefier rocket (2,5m with the mainsail engine and SRB’s and a skipper engine for the second stage) (Yes, in sandbox mode). As a beginner in KSP, It allows for less efficient maneuvers and more Delta V for the lander.
ОтветитьI couldn't do this, I kept making mistakes. Yet somehow when i got drunk last night I executed it flawlessly. Denzel Washington's character in The Pilot would be so proud of me.
ОтветитьI did this, but i barely even had enough fuel to get back into orbit of the Mun, Are there any adjustments i should make so i can get back? i literally just needed like 150 - 200 more dv, if i would have known that there was infinite fuel with eva jetpacks i woulda done it but i deleted the quicksaves....
Ответитьme: adds fuel because i dont trust myself to be fuel efficient
Bob kerman: Now stuck in an orbit around the mun
Could you change it from above swa level to land so you don't have to eyeball it ?
ОтветитьAh hell naw mane, i got 300 delta v left how do i tell bro hes staying there
ОтветитьYou can't turn on SAS if you don't have a pilot!
ОтветитьThank you Matt, I have made it to the Mun, but... I ran out of fuel. Good thing my kerbals repsawn!
ОтветитьWay too fast paced to be aimed at a beginner demographic. Maybe don't timelapse while trying to teach something to first time players.
ОтветитьThis helped me alot but when my spaceship landed it fell on its side But I managed to make it out of the mun and get back and got 448 science :p thx
ОтветитьWhy is this crap so difficult
Ответитьnot enough fuel borther
ОтветитьRetrograde on mun landing can be catastrophic 😂... The moment when you reach slight positive velocity... Good night... 😂
ОтветитьWhy is the burning so fucking difficult man
ОтветитьThis tutorial is so easy. It is litilry the best tutorial on yt.
ОтветитьAnd i though landing on the moon in spaceflight simulator was difficult💀
ОтветитьIm on xbox, i give up, i actually give up its too much effort
ОтветитьAs a beginner how do you get the extra SRS auto' modes as a with a scientise I only have where I am pointing?
Ответитьthis tutorial doesnt work in career mode on post 1.11.1, due to only pilots being able to use SAS, and requiring a higher level to lock onto things like normal, target, and radial. it might work if you find a way to have similar deltaV with a larger command module for 2 kerbals, but if you can do that you probably dont need this tutorial.
ОтветитьHELP! BOB IS STUCK ON THE MUN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP
Ответитьdamn its like hella hard, im trying for 3 days already, but i still cant even normally leave kerbin orbit and get to the mun. i just dont understand how those nodes work.
ОтветитьI am having trouble planning a node to the moon. When should the moon be aligned with KSC to have the easiest 3rd burn after orbit stabilization?
ОтветитьHey I need some help. My SRBs keep gliching into the rocket. How do I fix this?
ОтветитьThanks so Much for this tutorial, I've been trying to get to the mun using the KSP tutorial but can't seen to land on the sun without tipping over/exploding, Ive built his rocket and I'll let you know how it goes, I hope to be able to report that "The Eagle has landed"
ОтветитьHe takes a orbit in his mission, I went straight up and crashed into the mun 😂
ОтветитьHI
ОтветитьShort answer if you're sending a probe instead of a manned mission:
Step 1: Make the rocket
Step 2: launch and go orbit
Step 3: set mun as target
Step 4: go to descending node and burn in the direction you're orbiting
Step 5: time warp
Step 6: Mun orbit
Step 7: bend orbit
Step 8: try to get a good landing spot and dont explode
Step 9: done
I made a rocket myself that was absolutely massive with a ton of boosters and I still wasn’t able to reach the mun without losing all my fuel
ОтветитьGoing back to Kerbin is easier than you think. Just point straight up, unless you landed on the far side.
Ответитьwow i just recently started playing ksp and my rockets suck. your tutorial is so good im gonna sub and it solved all my problems (only i dont have enough fuel to return to kerbin)
ОтветитьHere's my first landing, basically I was trying to send a rover first to find a nice spot to land, surprisingly I survived the 20 m/s landing, BUT the lander tank got stuck on top of it an flipped it, so I had to send some kerbals over in another rover to get it working again only to find out the rover doesn't even work.
ОтветитьU are literally the best Ksp yt
ОтветитьI can't do it. Lol
ОтветитьHow do you have SAS available with just your scientist? I had to add an OKTO and I still only have stability assist!
ОтветитьARRGH! i cant follow this,. Carrier has the struts and the fuel line thing requiring two 45 science things then a 90.
ОтветитьCalling this a tutorial is false advertising at its finest
ОтветитьYeah it’s shit tutorial
ОтветитьI have tried and tried but cant get back from Mun. I wish the video was not so blurry so I could see the delta you have left every step of the way. I used your rocket but made the lander even lighter, no science jr. The second stage gets me to Mun, I can even hit it at an orbit to land right away. I also tried making a perfect low orbit first. I usually land with between 900-1050 delta now so I am not looking at the other stages, it must be my accent.
First time I landed in pitch black but I actually stuck the landing. Its in the highlands too, lol. So far I have landed about 50 times, took off 50 times. Pretty sure the problem has to be my accent from MUN to orbit. From Mun orbit its about 200/225ms to get captured by Kerbal. My problem is once I get to the very last step, I wait until just before Ap but just dont have enough juice, the orbit is too large. I never had this problem doing flybys.
First and second stages work great, I arrive at Mun with 2000 ms full tank. Maybe I will try more landing legs and another T100 or 200.
I also kept playing the same save so maybe its just the location. Very mountainous but the whole thing looks that way.
