ОтветитьBack then I was a teener growing up on an Island in the Caribbean. Listening to this music made me always wonder how life was on the other side of the ocean. I often dreamt of going to Europe and learn about the culture and every other good things Europe has to offer. So after finishing high school I got a scolarship and went to the Netherlands to study. My years in the Netherlands were more than worth and I lived my dream. Thx to the music of the 80's for waking up my interest in the European countries.

ОтветитьAs a teenager in early 70's, I met this band King Harvest in a tiny bar in Olcott Beach, NY. It was a memorable event, and brings back great memories every time I hear Dancing in the Moonlight.

ОтветитьI was in my early 20s during the 80s. It was the best decade of my life. These songs bring back so many memories.
ОтветитьMy grandpa was 38 in 1985 and he used to listen to American songs on the other side of the Iron Curtain. He built his own illegally tuned radio and listened to Voice of America, probably listening to one of these songs back then.
ОтветитьForvever an 80s dad ❤❤ who just happens to be a 33 yr old chick 😅🤘
ОтветитьMusic is something that helps me overcome the sadness in life🥰.
In this life, there are so many sad things happening around us! For me too, I encounter and go through unpleasant things every day, but those difficulties don't stop me, it doesn't even affect my emotions anymore. It is because of these things that have helped me to be stronger, to strive more in this difficult life!
I tell this story, not to brag about myself. I just wanted to give you a little encouragement, make you stronger and try to live a happy, joyful life!💖
Try it, I believe you can. You deserve a better life than you have. Don't let your sadness stop you!✨

ОтветитьI'm 43 I grew up listening to these lite fm songs. Summers growing up I used to walk the Brooklyn Bridge 🌉 with my Walkman and songs I recorded of the lite fm. Today I know I'll cry walking it today. Because each song reminded me of family mostly the ones that passed on from that time. 80s will forever be part me until I fly away into the heavens.
