Thank you for the video! I watched a lot of japan videos but couldn't get it working properly but now I feel like I know a lot more on what to do. As a noob, I miss a lot of game knowledge and proper understanding of the gameplay etc. I only have 144 hours. EDIT: Please, part 2!!!

Excellent playthrough. I do think it was a bit of a mistake to take so much from Ming when you seized the mandate, though, because you can get all those cores for free just by sieging it down with the unite china CB. Grabbing money from them (they are the bank of Ming, after all...lol) and securing the imperial cities you need to keep the mandate high as well as some territory to Isolate them from their greedy neighbors might have been better.

If Korea is still a tributary of Ming, should we instead invade Manchuria?

Silly question, but how we take the mandate and make this mission if Ming just exploded?? LoL

I keep having to restart because Ashikaga ends up either diplo annexing or declaring war on enough daimyo's to get too big to full annex. I definitely like the idea of multiple show of strengths in order to get mana out the ass, but it just takes too long. How did you manage to keep ashikaga small? They didn't grow by a single province in your game. In my game it is 1460 and they have nearly half of japan.

There really is no point in taking anything from china in this war, since you declared it with "Claim Mandate of Heaven" CB.

In the next war you would have a "Unify China" CB, which grants you cores for all occupied provinces in China subcontinent.

So if you wait for the next war to start taking their provinces, it'll save you sth like 1000 admin points

How did you keep the Oda red when you United Japan ?

Did you miss the part that samurai are bugged and cost 2x manpower to reinforce, so you should absolutely never use them until they're fixed? None of these bonuses are worth twice the manpower cost.

Great video! I got nearly 4k hours in the game, but I still enjoy you explaining why you play the way you do and seeing the micromanagement, etc. In the end, this is why I love the game, not just brainless map painting. New sub well earned, keep it up! :)
