As a Christian single I was ignored by my church and told I was making my desire for a marriage partner an idol. Meanwhile 70 of married Christian men are porn and sex addicts and adultery is rampant along with a 50% divorce rate. No one I know of had decent premarital counseling. No churches mentor their singles to understand that marriage is an image of Christ and how he loves her and gives himself up for her. Oh no problem with wives submit to your husbands even to the point that some churches teach they should submit to their husbands even if they are being abused! Most Christians have no idea what marriage is about except now they can legally engage in sexual intimacy.

I don't know about these being signs of marriage for me. But I do believe it's spiritual growth.

It is too late for me to seek dating or marriage for the first time. I am too old and broken to get started.
