Madeira definitely will be my favourite place to take my life for the future 👌🙏
ОтветитьCannot tell you how utterly helpful your entire Madeira series has been! Time to retire. Been wringing my hands as I've attempted to winnow the list of places. Madeira checks all of the boxes! Worried about finding a rental I can afford, yes, and the visa/residency process will doubtless be fraught with stress, but... gonna make it happen! Thank you, Joen and Amalie!!!!!
ОтветитьI love to follow you guys all over Portugal and I have learned so much about the country through your videos. If you move to Madeira, it would be too limiting.... by all means it is an absolutely stunning place but I think your content would be far more limited.
Well done to you both! More videos of wine routes in Porto and Alentejo would be wonderful too!
Can somebody tell me in witch lovely restaurant you are sitting?
ОтветитьIm from Madeira and I have some things to say. I lived in Porto and in Lisbon and let me tell you, I always find myself coming back to Madeira. There's nothing like this, it's so relaxing. You can be in the forest or at the beach in the same island and in so little time. The weather is unreal, you can be in Funchal having 26º degrees and on top of the mountain in Pico do Areeiro and it´s snowing. Of course it's a little limited but I think it compensates on the quality of life you can get here. And the food is great, so why not stay at least 6 months to see what you think?
ОтветитьI love the new format, both are great, you two are yourselves natural on camera, so it feels more friendly. Keep filming!

ОтветитьMadeira is my favorite place on Earth. I think I am the only American who knows about it LOL. We are going to retire early in Europe, and Madeira is my dream, but my husband thinks it is too sleepy. So if you do make the move, I will be excited to see your content, and maybe I can convince my husband.
Ответитьhehe... missing winter degrees?.. no 😁 ... we want to see more of your stuff and left the bell
ОтветитьAwesome video. Do you think... Would i make living as a yoga instructor in Madeira?
ОтветитьMy family is from there and is still currently liveing there, my grandmother has a house there that my grandfather built
ОтветитьYour livestream last night brought me here :) Love this style of video and except for the making of babies, all your pros/cons are the same as ours for moving to Madeira :D Maybe we'll see you there next month ;) Best of luck with the move!
ОтветитьSo you actually moved there eheh
ОтветитьWouldn't it be easier to sit next to each other 😅
ОтветитьSeems like paradise.
ОтветитьPlease let this island be underrated, so it doesn’t turn into a touristy place like Miami or Cancun! Keep it quiet please!
ОтветитьMove to Brooklyn New York or Harlem
ОтветитьConsidering moving, we are 2 adults with a baby... what would you say a comfortable budget would be? We don't drink, we want a 1 bedroom convenient location... minimal living. We also don't won't have a car. Is this a crazy idea?
ОтветитьI enjoyed the format - kind of like a conversation with friends. Got a little dizzy watching the spinning though. I think your assessment that Madeira is the "Bali of Europe" is spot on. We were in Madeira in February, 2020, just before lock down. We agree with all your observations, especially the accessible natural beauty of the island. Ever since, I've thought about moving to Madeira, but I worry that it might feel too small and isolated. That said, there's always flights to the mainland. Cheers!
ОтветитьMy wife is from there and here in the USA is getting out of hand. I'm bugging her to pick up and move
ОтветитьThanks for the video - where are you in this video? :)
ОтветитьThank you for great video, lived over 15 years in Australia and came back to Europe last year. Looking for place with nice weather and Madeira looks good.
ОтветитьWhy does she ALWAYS say "whats up my BOYS.."??? Im a guy but if I were a woman I wud be a little offended. Its as if ur only talking to guys. Im not sure if ur targeting U.S. viewers but even in the US a woman wouldn't say that when addressing the public. Just a tip. :)
ОтветитьI love this lush gazebo where you are sitting!
ОтветитьYou want to transition Madeira? You morons.
ОтветитьMadeira was always a treasure hiding place for European Royals and aristocracy. Lots of lung diseases cured on Madeira and also lots of hidden children were born by the ruling class. Perhaps they knew very well how to hide this wonderful island from the public… Madeira is really magical also planning to visit and stay for a while. Held og lykke i fremtiden. 👍🏻🇵🇹💚🤍
ОтветитьI am really thinking to come to Madeira but first I would like to know from you guys has it been crazy there with covid like in the rest of Europe? I bored of all the narrative continuing here and i would like to live in a place far from all this bullshits.
ОтветитьI'm booking as soon as I can!
ОтветитьWhat kind of internet service exists in Madeira? Is there fiber or cable?
ОтветитьHi !!
I am hoping to move over to Madeira solo (plus my dog) in January. Any advice for best neighbourhoods in Funchal? Or real estate companies to work with? I would like to rent a 2 bedroom, funrished apartment ;) Any advice would be much appreciated! Coming from Montreal - Canada.
I like the video, but put them away girl
ОтветитьCan't wait videos about your building your home there. We plan to follow your plan :)
Ответитьgood video..i have the same doubts...but I dream about living there...i just do not know about doing it
ОтветитьClimate is the main thing
ОтветитьLOVE IT!
Ответитьthey are not very smart
ОтветитьI’d love to follow your journey of building your new house and farm
ОтветитьCan I grow my own vegetables and fruits in Madeira, I mean is there plenty space to do so, if not what other part of Portugal you guys recommend for being a farmer👨🏻🌾🏞️
ОтветитьMy grandmother, along with her bros & sisters were born & raised there. They grew up very poor farmers, before the island was too commercialized. Apparently, I still have fam & cousins living there... I've seen pictures from my families visits & I've wanted to go ever since. Unfortunately, I'm a poor sucker who lives in the states so I'll prob never make it out of South Carolina but eh, maybe someday. A fool can dream.
Ответить“The Bali of Europe” a magnificent description and accurate .You are both correct about that. The only bad month for tourists is August. The weather is not bad in winter, we live up in the mountains because we don’t like too much heat. Here it gets windy but you can live in a more sheltered area if you choose.
ОтветитьI loved it! Yes! Move to Madeira!
ОтветитьSo Madeira is Bali , Azores are a mix of Ireland+Iceland+Hawaii , what are the Cannaries? 😂
ОтветитьCool video
ОтветитьDid you take some marijuana?🤔 I like it ahahah
ОтветитьYou don’t top up wine everyone knows that
ОтветитьWine you serve than only serve again when finished you don’t top it up ruins the experience I guess
ОтветитьYou guys are smashed 😂
ОтветитьGood info but please don’t repeat this format, made me dizzy.
ОтветитьWhy not trying Tenerife which is way better?
Ответить
