First time here in your video popped after another breastfeeding videoI was watching !God bless your baby !
ОтветитьThank you for all your suggestions and advised ! Really a relief for me to listen to you as a first time Mommy! ❤
ОтветитьHi
Thank you for sharing your experience. I have three questions.
1-what is the brand of you pump?
2- For how long we need to stay on this schedule to increase our milk supply?
3- Does it work in months 3,4,5 and … or not?
Thanks again
I had an extreme oversupply for over a year with both babies . They would feed, could never empty me, so I would pump and still get 12oz total . AFTER feeding . I think it’s also good to warn mothers of the possibility of a massive oversupply. It’s NOT fun. Both of My babies choked on my milk in the hospital because it was so much, so fast .
ОтветитьBut why do you need a freezer stash?
ОтветитьThat Elvie pump is so expensive. I need it though bc i have 2 other little children who are homeschooled and keeping that pumping schedule is so hard. My milk supply has suffered. Thankfully, i froze a lot on the front end, which is giving me time to work on increasement.
ОтветитьWhat were you doing at night !? also pump / feed every 3 hours ? thanks for the info ! really great !
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. Total game changer. God bless Mama!
ОтветитьDon't forget that co-sleeping and night nursing are even more important if mom has to go back to work!
I never scheduled feeds after we were established and my baby was doing well. Neither weaned young, and I never dried up until they weaned when they were older toddlers.
Thank you so much for this video! such valuable information exactly i was looking for ❤ Im having a 1 month baby and go through this problem of uncertainty if my body is producing enough milk. I got now more certainty and knowledge on what to do. Thank u so much! weiredly with my first born i had the other problem of clogged breast. i will start pumping and hopefully increase supply abit more. i think the problem in my case is that baby is not always emptying breast fully and sometimes can not get enough if it follows a breastfeeding with not fully empty breast. Thanks again ❤
Ответитьاشاهدك مجددا 🤷♂️💘
ОтветитьExpecting my first baby soon and I’m so thankful for your video!
ОтветитьThank you for this, so helpful!
Ответитьhope u pull out ur breast n do demo
ОтветитьHi, how do you clean the pump parts after each time you use them? Do I need to sterilize everything every time? Thank you
ОтветитьI really wish I had seen this video a couple of weeks ago..
Thank you for this video
Do you give the baby some of the pumped milk? We’ve been told to “top up” our baby after breastfeeding because she’s 2 weeks old and not gaining enough weight per day
ОтветитьHow long do you recommend pumping for after a feed? I don’t want my body to produce a whole new feed just to empty the breasts xx
ОтветитьWhat do you do with all the milk that has been pumped?
ОтветитьThanks for the helpful information provided
ОтветитьInteresting that you would say “you will leak no matter what” - just hit 4 months of breastfeeding and I have never leaked while my LO was nursing, except every once in a while like 2 drops lol…
ОтветитьSo much wisdom in this video! I'm sure that comes with having four kids 😊
ОтветитьMe first time ‘mom n 1 month. Baby. How long does take for pumping of Brest milk to come out.
ОтветитьGross! Give that damn baby a bottle
ОтветитьI use pump princess it's Lactation Supplements it's in a cute little Bottle and there's also one club liquid gold I talked to a Lactation nurse And she heard good reviews
ОтветитьHow often do you use the bottle vs the breast?
ОтветитьWhat type of breast pump are you talking about. Can't find it?
ОтветитьNew mom here, and I’m very overwhelmed and confused. So for you moms that are pumping and breast-feeding, are you pumping to give them the milk throughout the day? Or are you pumping to store it for later use?
ОтветитьJust found out I’m pregnant with our third, nice refresher course!! Glad I didn’t have to watch a million videos and it wasn’t chopped up with links to other videos so I could just listen while I cooked dinner. I definitely forgot a lot of this, thanks for posting this!
ОтветитьWonderful video very genuine
Ответитьhi, can u pls send link for pump you mentioned? thanks
ОтветитьSo do you start pumping when the milk comes in and only bf on demand for the first week when it’s only colostrum ?
ОтветитьI think it’s good for people to share their experiences but would recommend people consult a lactation consultant for accurate information. For example, there is always milk in your breasts; you do not need to pump it all out in order for your breasts to refill. This advice sounds like a one-size-fits-all and breastfeeding is just not like that.
ОтветитьIf baby keeps falling asleep after being on there for 5 min it's REALLY hard to pump or empty breasts 😓😣 like impossible! 😓😭
ОтветитьI need to go back on a real schedule bc my milk supply has gone down a lot 😭😭
ОтветитьAfter the golden hour, how often should I pump if I'm exclusively pumping? Right now I pump every 3 to 4 hours. My Baby is 4 weeks
ОтветитьBoobs are not muscles. They are mostly glandular tissue so it’s a similar to the tissue that your liver is made of. When manually extracting do it gently and don’t squeeze them. There is some muscle in breasts that squeeze when it gets enough oxytocin and it allows for let down to happen.
Ответитьجعلتيني مجنون بجمالك من أول ثانية 😥♥️
ОтветитьThis was a great informative video from a very real perspective. I truly needed this with my first baby (we don't have lactation specialists here and everyone I spoke to were very patronising about how easy it should be and I must be doing it wrong). I am expecting my 2nd baby in May and this was just perfect - thank you very much for your experience and advice.
ОтветитьIs boy on girl
ОтветитьThank you so much for all your informative videos. They are so real. You're an amazing Mama <3
ОтветитьThank you for this video ❤
How long do you pump after feeding and how long do you pump if you didn’t feed your baby?
The schedule thing is not true for all women and you shouldn’t say it is a fact. You will scare new moms during a hard enough time. Sure some women might have trouble but lots of other women are able to breastfeed for years just by doing it on demand with no schedule and pumping only when needed. Also all babies lose weight at birth as they used to be attached 24/7 to a cord that provided nutrients directly into baby. When they are born they now have to nurse for their nutrients which causes weight loss in the first weeks. Yes there can be extreme weight loss but people nowadays try to scare moms into thinking any weight loss at birth is their fault. It isn’t. It’s 100% normal.
ОтветитьIt's not that complicated don't complicate it and make yourself overworked and exhausted in your beginning when it's already tough. Nourish yourself and get rest and relax I know it's hard to relax and take care of yourself but that's actually the best advice I got and pumping every 3 hours for 15 mins made everything simple and it worked now we just feed on demand and that works too get your electrolytes too :)
ОтветитьI had a lactation consultant in the hospital and to establish a milk supply in the first month all you need to do in the beginning is pump every 3 hours for 15 mins you don't want an oversupply if your breasts hurt ever just cold pack them or frozen cabbage
ОтветитьHi! If you are going with this BFing and pumping schedule, do you still need to feed from different breast each time (if you are pumping on the otherside while feeding)?
ОтветитьI’m 33 weeks this Thursday and so excited to breastfeed that I don’t think I’m realizing the work that will go into it… This was a great reality check and very informative. I’m a new subscriber!
ОтветитьThis is so exciting! I’m so anxious to get down pumping. So you started pumping from day 1 when you got home?? I wasn’t sure I could do that! 🥰
ОтветитьJust here commenting for all the mamas who don’t relate… I have a committed pumping schedule while feeding every 2-3 hours. I never feel engorged and I never leak. A haaka doesn’t work for me. I’m a just enougher and often an undersupplier. I struggled with supply with both of my children. When she says “everyone leaks, everyone gets engorged, etc.” don’t be discouraged by these matter-of-fact type statements. It’s easy to be discouraged on your nursing and pumping journey when you feel like you are trying to do above and beyond to make it successful, especially when you are sacrificing so much of your time, sleep, money, and so forth. When you watch a video like this that basically communicates if you do things a certain way you will have these predictable outcomes… that’s just not the case for every mom because so many factors can effect your journey, what you experience, etc.
Just want to say, you got this mom and you are enough for your baby. Don’t compare and try to measure up to all the many voices out there. You are unique and your journey is unique and that’s okay. I’m not implying that she doesn’t have great points in this video… but this is not a fail proof plan. I know this because I did all this and there are plenty of things that just didn’t turn out like she says and I hoped for.
Hi!💜 How often are you supposed to the the golden hour pumping schedule? Once a day? For how long?
