This DLC actually managed to make Security Breach scary.

I don't know why Freddy is evil either but I think that he always had the word prototype on his foot but it was just very well covered and I know why he lost his head because Gregory took it with him in the princess quest ending after he saved Vanessa from Vanny/ William Afton and I think that Freddie is not trying to kill Cassie he's trying to protect her because of the fact he doesn't have his head anymore he's kind of like a Mindless zombie

Prototype Freddy's existence was foreshadowed when Freddy had an existential crisis in the endo room.

How is this.... thing scarier than any of the Nightmare animatronics?! And I don't mean that in a bad way, Proto Freddy is straight up scarier than them in my honest opinion! I mean, all of the Nightmares have bloody, razor sharp teeth. Hell, Nightmare has teeth INSIDE HIS STOMACH!!! Proto Freddy has no head and is at worst, shattered! But, he makes up for that with his stomach hatch, which is intentionally designed to look like teeth! Not to mention his jumpscare; the way he forcefully shoves you into his chest is just horrifying!

You know I kinda feel for Monty, like my man was inspired by Bonnie(judging by the dark ride) and then my man got controlled by vanny(since maybe afton is really dead from fnaf 6) and then my man lost freakin Legs and pelvis, in my interpretation on my he’s acting like a rabid dog, maybe Monty is driven to insanity to the point he is barely coherent to the point my man thinks he could swim in water( which somehow already didn’t kill him when he first dips in it) and iam pretty sure out of all the animatronics he’s definitely dead in my opinion, R I P Monty he began as a rockstar and died as a feral dog

So I don't get what this means. Is this Gregory's Freddy or not? This one's got no head (like in the Vanny ending) which means Gregory took the head with him. BUT this one says prototype on his foot, which the deuteragonist of Security Breach did not... at least, I'm 95% sure. That continuity aside, if he were a prototype, could that be used to explain why he was able to stay good when all the other animatronics became corrupted (or how Michael Afton's soul was able to possess him if you subscribe to that theory)? Then again, they wouldn't have put a prototype on stage to perform. Or maybe they would, but only after the OP Freddy malfunctioned. But it was Gregory's Freddy who malfunctioned during the stage show... UGH! I'm lost... can someone explain this to me?

If you remember right he does not get trapped remember in the main ending him and Gregory get out of there but there's two types of that we're Gregory stays and not the princess quest ending 2

It is a prototype if you saw the foot in the first game and then not have prototype that is a prototype fake

What I hatr about this is the whole "prototype" foot writing. All of a sudden, this makes this freddy "not our freddy" (even do it cleary is, like why would there be a prototype build of a animatronic in a run down, abandon fazer blaster area.) the gift box and foot writing were put tbere so people think it ain't our feddy but it literally has it to be our fred.

If Freddy was there but it says prototype, that means that is not Freddy that where from security breach
The real Freddy was neither destroyed, escape with Gregory, or his program or soul was still with Gregory (Idk what is your decision from your ending is)
So we don't know where is the real Freddy now.

Prototype Freddy is somehow just a test for it's function

A little detail I heard that animatronics head made them identified as functional animatronics (obviously, its head where brain and chips were). And because it doesn't have head, when using mask the body doesn't seems to be appear in AR world.

I know the Save Vanessa ending is canon, but that doesn’t explain why Freddy (prototype) disappears when you put on the mask. All other animatronics have wire frames.

that's not the real glamrock freddy though from security breach which is why it says prototype when i saw him like that i got so fucking sad then realized with relief its not him

there r a few reasons why u can tell that this is a different freddy from the one we escape with in the PQ ending/the afton ending (nobody rlly knows which ending Ruin follows because there are hints to both) but one that I noticed which idk if others noticed is the giftbox in the prototype freddy is green but in Security Breach the giftbox in Freddy's chest cavity is yellow and orange aka the giftbox u get the fazwatch from

I have two main theories: 1) this is the remains of Freddy Gregory worked with and the princess ending is canon. 2) it's the body of a prototype Freddy but the head was taken and put onto the one from the original game, which explains why it was corrupted but our Fred Bear wasn't

This was definitely the best part of the whole DLC, there's so much to think about. Is this actually THE Freddy or a different one. Either way, we don't know whether Freddy is acting out of maliciousness or protectiveness. Whether he's trying to kill Cassie or trying to protect her. It makes it so much scarier, with a bit of sadness. All in all I really hope we get more of this version of Freddy in future games.

I swear one of the creepiest things is how Prototype Glam Freddy's legs are bent at an odd angle that you would assume would mean they’re broken, but then they just twist and snap back to normal. It’s honestly kinda unnerving.

This design gos back to sister location after realising greory could fit in Freddy they tried to use that as a why to kid nap kids like circus baby’s design

Based on where Freddy is found & on the fact that he is headless makes me think that Steel Wool is trying to lead us in the direction of uh the Princess Quest ending being the true canon but there are a few facts contradicting that first I don't think the Freddy helping Gregory has the word 'prototype' on his foot I could be wrong and second he still has a present in his chest so I don't know.
