I just watched it yesterday and wow
I need like years of therapy and a premium trauma team plan for this depression.

My grandmother died the other night. She was there and then she wasn't. She was my entire reason for living. I wanted to do everything for her that she couldn't do for herself. I was away from home on the road working to get her a better life so that she didn't have to work for the rest of her life. I'd give everything for her to be here right now. She was like a mother to me. Make sure you spend as much time as you can with the people you love because tomorrow isn't promised to anyone.

This is the first anime to break me beyond repair 😭. Really made me feel emotions I never knew I had. Definitely in my top 5

there is not happy endings in night city..........

I was at the last Eps when i realize Lucy didn't really want to go to the moon, it's just the best excuse she got....she just want to escape the city, opening a new book to her miserable life in Night City.
And David gave that to her without him realizing.
I swear being born and living in Night City is a curse.
They could've gone anywhere by that time.
Damn young naive love where people make mistakes, and this one of those mistakes that cannot be repaired.

I had hoped that they met or have a more mature and ripe mentor to guide them, but they are living all alone, keeping each other safe.
I wish with my age comes wisdom and power so that i can guide, not direct, young souls searching through meaning in their lives, giving them other perspectives.

I have seen people like Lucy in my life, thinking all the world could offer is that same life in the city or country they are born into.
Mostly people from a big city thinking that their city is so big and advance, there couldn't be anything better outside.
In my native language there's a saying "it's like a frog trapped in an upside down bowl" or living in a bubble in English saying.
But i swear to you the world is vast. There are different things, different ideas, different weather, different nature, different food out there.
It's gonna be okay.
I hope my words are reaching young souls out there who are in the same position Lucy is in, Try.
Try venture outside, leave your bubble.
I know it's hard at the time, but you have to know, what you have now, isn't all that life can offer.
And i wish you for a guiding hands, someone who can guide and protect you in your journey to adulthood.

Hearing this in-game after watching the show is surreal.

We need any of David's things at the tower show that we got to the top.

I like the part where they said "It's Edgerunning time" and then edged all over the place. Truly one of the moments of all time.

I want to watch this series but knowing what happens to them all keeps me from watching it because this song makes knowing hit hard AF

I really wished this show had a happy ending, but the way I felt after it ended was insane, it was something new. sad, but new. 😢
