This is the best series ever.

The giant halls of Odin feasting on roast beasts and horns full of ale through the night and then battle and mortal sacrifice during the day. This sounds no more ridiculous than martyring yourself killing innocent unarmed infidels for paradise and 72 virgins. Actually it sounds a little more admirable I'd have to say. Maybe that's why the white slaves taken from the Nordic countries by the Moor slavers were so precious! World history is fantastic and if only there were writings and items of the civilizations that existed before the Younger-Dryus episode occurred on earth. India's ancient history may be the most fascinating! Oh to live in age with so much knowledge you can hold in one hand while manipulating it with another. This may not be the first time it was available to mankind, nor atomic destruction.....😮

This show was so... grey. I live in Sweden and I admit that we have a lot of dark, grey, cold, rainy and snowy days, but not ALL the time. One could wonder why any viking would like to return home from a raid with weather like that. I do get it that it's a show and that the color scheme is chosen to reinforce the overall ambience and context. But damn, this was depressing to watch.
