The real problem is our society has rejected God and his Word (The Bible) Which is the only standard for God's truth. When you walk away from God (who is light) that leaves you in confusion and darknesss. He will even allow people to be deceived who decide to walk away form Him. God basically says, ok people if you want darkness, you got it, and all the fruits that come with it.

The only way out of this darkness is to turn back to God who is the light and His Word The Bible. Or keep listening to satans lies and deception and confusion.
