It is truly remarkable how such a small and powerless country like Greece could keep Italians away while at the same time conquer back some of her lands that had been given to Albanian. Greeks fought so courageously that even Hitler had to recognise them. Another thing to point out is that during the 4 years of German occupation, greeks never stopped resisting. I think it's fair to say that Greece led the most determined resistance of WW2
