A Final Fantasy game made by the currently best game developers on the planet. I can't ask for anything more (well, maybe some luck in the pulls).

I'm mostly curious how the artifact system will be handled? I don't think i've heard anything about domain equivalents so i'm wondering if it'll be less of a pain?

Never played a game from Hoyo, but i LOVE Persona and this game screams for my interests. But its still 2 months away. Which would you reccommend playing till than Genshin or Honkai?

why does everyone keep comparing this game to Genshin and acting like turn based games are a new thing?
i play Genshin, and also play turn based combat style mobile games as well.
I know all too well to separate these games in my head because they are targeting a different audience and it's basically just a turn based combat JRPG/strategy game like Final Fantasy 7 or Epic 7, FGO, Raid Shadow Legends, EXOS Heroes, Kings Raid, etc etc but with Genshin graphics and UI.
Those who enjoy Action JRPG like Genshin and never played turn based games, may not like turn based JRPGs

my biggest concern is, what will they do with the power level & game direction? genshin impact or honkai impact 3rd, i really don't prefer one from the other, just taking the freaking best of both and make it even better, turn base is always my jam, and it just a matter of time until hoyoverse make a TACTICS game (mark my word 🤞😂) which is my all time fav genre and i'll be completely dive in 'Hoyoverse'

I don't know about this. I really like turn-based games and RPGs. I think turn-based games are good, because in most JRPG games each character has a Wide Variety of skills, so they can fit in many compositions. So you can work with anything. But here there's just two skills, one skill and Burst like genshin, plus normal attack. Which means I think they're pushing the characters to be as niche as possible, which I think is already a mistake in Genshin Impact, making them suitable for at best one team composition only. Except maybe some obligatory supports.

About defense, it's Way More Important in turn based games. In genshin impact it Doesn't matter much, you can just evade and dodge or just Shield. But Elemental Resistances are seriously underutilized. It's basically an Enemy Only Stat. In this game, If you get hit you always take full damage. You can't dodge any attacks, which makes elemental resistances and defense in general much more important. And I fear they're not expanding on that.
In this game if enemy attacks the wrong person, you're screwed. You have to waste a turn healing, and then your one skill expires. Unless you can end battles in 2 or 3 turns or against bosses quickly I think defense is important.
And can you even use items in Battles? If not...

I also like it if bosses have some good strategy to take them down easier, not just a massive health bar that takes a long time to whittle down. I feel it's gonna be difficult if Any Enemies require you to have A Specific Gacha Character to beat them. Because It's luck based character ownership. I hope they give a variety of ways for any one boss. And especially all content beatable with four stars only.

There might be more to be said, but this is all for now.

The turn base combat turn me doown

This is a great overview of the game and its mechanics, really well done.
This game takes alot of inspiration from Persona 5, u really see it in the interface and the general style.

similated universe is inspired by the Elysium Realm from Honkai impact 3rd, its a roguelike mode in that game.
I generally prefer the English VA's in this game, they sound so good and have alot of great lines.

From what i seen of the final closed beta, it takes the best of both games and throws it together in a very succesful way with Simulated universe giving the game the Endgame that Genshin never had among other stuff.

I can't wait to give the game a go, but i'll be patient.

You lost me at "resin"

Glad people are enjoying it, but I just cant bring myself to play a gacha turn based game when there are tripple A games that have a better story and dont have all the faults of a gacha.

Combat looks like you will fall asleep, that's why ig there is autoplay which makes any actual on-hand playtime with the game almost meaningless. This game will reward playing even less than Genshin

Pick: Turn Base Rpg or Action Rpg ?

I would like to play this game if it’s possible to turn off the animations. They’re phenomenal but I don’t want to have to see my Ult every single battle because it’ll add an hour+ into the game.

Forgotten hall is more a direct abyss counterpart it has a star sytem and you need two teams to complete , simulated universe is more similar to elysian realm from honkai
