as a gm ana 1 trick the #1 tip i can give to everyone is... to have fun, no im not even joking. think about it - would u go back to a single player game u dont like and try to beat it on the hardest difficulty? no. by wanting to get a higher rank, ur essentially saying "i want to turn up the difficulty because like it enough to want to learn more." speedrunners speedrun games they have legitimate passion for, they love the game so much they legitimately want to become the best at it, u have to have that mentality for ranked if u want to rank up. and even if u de-rank thats just an excuse to play the game u like even more.

i beat halo 2 on legendary because i loved halo 2. and even with all its flaws i love overwatch, and because i love overwatch i will be top 500

i feel like this needs to be said tho cause people genuinely forget to have fun on videogames. life is too stressful to strain yourself over home entertainment

My friend and i are new to Overwatch, duo queuing. We are used to playing ranked and reaching higher rank in fps games like apex ect.

But I don't think I ever played a ranked game mode that has been this grindy!😅My friend and i are top fragging kills and damage, almost every game ect. Trying our best to do our part/hero role and keeping the focus on improving our own gameplay, veil trying to secure a win😅no matter how good or bad the rest of our team are.

But atm our ranked progress stalemate! I guess we just don't win enough games, so we are currently stuck in silver😅

But the grind must go on, and our focus is on having fun and improving individually! So hopefully it will turn around at some point😅

And I believe my friend has the potential to reach GM/top 500, I usually end up in a rank or 2 below that. I guess😄

The best way to rank up is actually to uninstall and play TF2 while listening to Tick Tock by Joji
