He had to be under the influence of some substance. I lived there for 15 years and that area is extremely busy. No one would run out across that many lanes with cars flying by at 70-80 Mph. Why walk, why cross there, money was not an issue so why not grab a cab, call a teammate, dial 911? Lots of questions. Sorry for the family left behind. RIP

Rumors on some other videos is that he ran out of gas in his rental car and was attempting to cross the highway, possibly to go find gas.

I guess some of the commentators were never young. I was, and made a lot of bad decisions. Sometimes alcohol was involved, other times I was just arrogant and "invincible" as many believe they are. But I survived my youth, not everybody does, it's just a matter of luck.
