ОтветитьIt is harder for black people to get jobs and promotions in America. Even the point about just using your name, there has been a study showing that persons with a black sounding name is less likely to be called for a job interview.
Now, I've recently started watching Valuetainment (which I enjoy btw) and one of the things that is concerning to me is that racism (or the struggle a black has doing the same thing other groups can while being black) seems to be underplayed.
I really think a black panelist who's made it out the trenches and has blow up and is conscious of the political climate would be a great addition to your show because now of you are black so you cannot fully understand what it's like being black in America. For black ppl, it's harder to get loans and the value for their houses are less so much so they often use a white friend as an intermediary to get better deals but how would that work for a job application?
The whitest NBA team is the ultimate commitment to DEI. In a league that is dominated by black athletes, he got the best minority white guys into one team. LOL!

If you truly want a diverse and inclusive work force, the first thing you have to do is to stop the discrimination of people based on politics. Example? Campaign donations, which are public record, were used to harass people who voted against the legalization of gay marriage, resulting in some people losing their jobs.
ОтветитьI never seen a job application that asks race or gender or has pics. So idk where all this comes from in the beginning? It’s all who just applys ams gets a call back based on experience. Now hiring only friends and family or if I’m told to hire my bosses son. That’s another story. But that’s not AA or DEI or anything. Bosses sons just get more chances than others. And we cannot simply just keep extra ppl on payroll.

When you say 80% of pilots are white are you saying only white men can fly planes safely. Your premise also presuppose that EVERY white male is inherently the most intelligent and qualified (if there is 80-20 that must be the case). Are you saying the no white male has been hired based on who they know what school that went to or that the ONLY requirement is most qualified and that is white men 80/20. ОтветитьDon't forget the Pareto Principle. In business, 80% of the work (on average) is done by 20% of the workforce. So it doesn't benefit a company to hire people that don't perform but tick a box in a stupid DEI metric.

ОтветитьThe thing about DEI hiring is it will correct itself. Bottom line is all companies have to answer to either the customer or investors or both. When these companies start losing due to DEI hires they will quickly correct as they are starting to now. DEI does not work and will never work atleast not the way dems have packaged it. DEI takes away talent and experience. What I would like to see is those talented and experienced to start working for themselves and take the control back.
