Is it OK to layer vitamin c and peptides serum?

My vitamin C serum is an oil, and my other serum is not. Would you still recommend putting the vitamin C one first? Or would the oil make it hard for the other products to absorb?

Is there any way you could do your skincare routine using comparable drugstore products?

Hi, it's me again. Would SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic be enough (in addition to cleanser, moisturizer, and sun screen) to achieve all that I wrote in my previous comment/question? Would it be enough if my moisturizer contains some "buzz word" ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid or some ceramides, or squalene? See, the list of beneficial ingredients is never-ending. Help!

Question: I'm a bit confused by the plethora of products that seem to overlap in function. I would like to brighten my skin, diminish the look of dark spots (maybe get rid of them?), provide adequate hydration for what I think is combo skin (used to be oily, but I'm now 52 yrs old), and have smoother skin (wouldn't hurt to lesson the light pink in my cheeks too). Do I need so many products? Don't vitamin C, serums with Hyaluronic acid, peptides, ceramides, niacinamides, and perhaps rose oil, and more, overlap? And then to use a moisturizer (at least once a day)? What is the benefit of using more than one in my routine, or is there a benefit, just that it's advisable to use one in the evening, and the other in the morning? I have been researching moisturizers and various serums etc. for days, and find it hard to know what to buy. I would greatly appreciate your input, as I don't want to use many products. Cleanser, 1-2 products such as serums/essences, moisturizer, and sun screen, sounds great to me! Btw, I am already using vitamin C. Thank you!

I have a few questions:

1.)How long should one wait between applying layers? Is it possible to apply the layers quickly without waiting for one minute in between?

2.) I noticed that you are using a vitamin C product and then the Medik8 peptide serum, which contains copper peptides (based on the ingredients list). I always believed that copper peptides should not be combined with vitamin C. Is this belief a myth?

I would have loved to see an alternative recommendation for moisturizer (since, as you say, the one you're using is incredibly expensive) but otherwise appreciated seeing your routine. thanks!

I'm just a New subscriver from the Netherlands and i love your video.
My self has a sensitive dryskin with coup roses ans rosacea and i struggle with my skincare routine. I tried a lot of high end brandstof like Chanel, clinic, sisly, enz and al the brands cost me a more rednes and patches and sensitive skin. Now i use a rich daytime crème and a thinner nighttime crème and of course a spf 50 ++++. But i struggle on a good serum that hydrates and help me with finelines i'm almost 40 years old so you need something for that to🙈
Can you reccomend some products for or must i go to a dermatologist for my redness coup roses rosacea skin?

I love your videos. Question: I just watched two that seem to have conflicting advice. One of your videos says that sunscreen comes after everything else - last layer before you walk out the door and reapply every two hours. But this video seems to say sunscreen goes on after the other actives but before putting on makeup. It’s the main question I always have. Which goes on first - makeup or sunscreen. And after I’ve already got makeup on then how do I reapply sunscreen later?

Should I use a regular sunscreen if I apply a tinted moisturizer or CC cream with SPF 25? If do, do I need to wait in between?

Should I be using Peach Slices Acne Oil-Free moisturizer every night? I do the Paula’s choice exfoliant, DRMTLGY needle-less serum, The ordinary multi-peptide +HA serum, then the Peach Slices moisturizer. I feel the moisturizer and Paula’s choice exfoliant saved my skin bc I was literally in pain from acne on my chin so I guess that’s why I’m afraid to stop the Peach Slices moisturizer but I’m afraid I should be using a different moisturizer due to aging?

How cal L-Ascorbic acid be finicky and how is it unstable

I'm so jealous of people who can use more than 2 products in the morning. My oily skin living in a hot and humid climate could never :( I just put on a super lightweight Vitamin C serum and a lightly moisturizing sunscreen and I already feel yucky when I step outside lol.

I use tretinoin .05. I notice that I am getting chapped lips. I tried applying petroleum jelly around my lips but it doesn’t seem to help. Nor does it make a difference whether I use the tretinoin morning or night, I still have chapped lips. Any suggestions?

I have been using a makeup primer for the last several months as well as a new night repair cream. In the last few week I have noticed I have little white small patches on my cheeks which I think might be product being trapped under my skin. How do I get rid of these? I just had my first hydrafacial which didn't seem to do much, although because I have sensitive skin, the aestetician used gentle serums and extraction procedures. She thought maybe the night repair cream was too emollient for my skin. Any ideas what else I can do?
