Is Delphox broken? Yeah. Does Delphox inherently gatekeep a good portion of the cast and make the game frustrating to play? Sure. Does spin provide too much effective self peel on too short a cooldown for being the immobile build? Definitely. Is the kit generally overloaded on a fundamental level with both great cooldowns and an extremely good ult that is basically a cooldown? Yep! However I just can’t bring myself to really hate Delphox, super fun to play and very flavorful mon, and I have a soft spot for it having gotten into the series with Gen 6. I’ll be a bit sad if it gets nerfed into the ground, but reversion of the last patch and then a bit more would be more than reasonable. I think they might have buffed her because they’re rerunning the battle pass skin in the anniversary prize machine.

Favorite Fire type is probably Heatran, like the design and I think it is the most perfectly designed competitive singles pokemon ever made, and i come from a competitive singles background
