Installing a Printer with CUPS

This is how you can install a printer on a Linux system using CUPS (Common UNIX Printing System). Of course, there are GUI implementations to install printers, but this one is a safe bet when you are working across distributions. I did this just as an example, so make sure you know the actual information for the socket://localhost field. :-P.
