The walking trail around the lake is .9 miles in circumference...not 9 miles! I have walked there many times the last 20 years! Very nice but...hard to find a open parking space on the weekends and holidays! Make sure you put enough money in the parking meter or you will get a parking ticket. The city like to dish out parking tickets there!

As a real estate agent in the Orlando area, I will agree with some comments that this doesn't scratch the surface. There are many cultural experiences. Many smaller entertainment venues such as dinner shows and theatre and tons of nature's offerings. But...yes, summer is hot!
