Yes, There's still a lot of political tension in Belfast. Don't be paranoid, but likewise, don't act like a goof.

In Belfast, don't... miss a visit to Kellys Cellar - don't... forget to book the City and Giants Causeway Tour - don't... hesitate to travel along the bayside from Larne and Whitehead to Helen's Bay and Bangor - and don't miss to visit the Transportation Museum in the middle of between - etc. etc. etc.

There seem to be several Black Cab tours. Which do you recommend? What makes them different? Or are they the same on a different platform?

I am working with a travel agent helping me plan a trip to Northern Ireland and Ireland for my group of 5 adults. We are Game of Thrones fans and interested in the Titanic Museum, possibly. The agent is telling me to plan on a tour being at least $100 per person and to be prepared to spend close to 10K for 10 days, not including airfare. We don't want to have a tour every minute of our time and are happy to explore on our own, so my question is do we really need to plan on paying $2K per person plus airfare for comfortable but not fancy accomodations and a few fun activities?

I can recommend the Titanic Museum discovery tour. It's £15 pp and lasts about an hour. You can book it without paying for general admission to the Museum if you are pressed for time. You do need to pre-book though.

Here is another dont: Dont go to east belfast with a Irish flag or a Celtic Top same with the west dont bring a union jack or a rangers top

If I want to visit both Dublin and Belfast, is it a better route to fly to Dublin and spend 10 days exploring that part of Ireland and for a weekend take a train to Belfast?

Locals are nice, but still wee lads like aged 14 or 15 will probably be drinking and also border line children are drink and vape so you know, stay safe. Its a bit wild here. also be warned, if you ever go to the christmas market bring LOTS of money, very expensive!

Belfast Central Station is now called Lanyon Place. It's about 2 minutes walk from St George's Market

Great video. "Don't forget to plan and make multiple trips here if your on a 3 or 4 day :) 1st location on my list is the The US Army Ranger Museum. (My Army Lineage). This is where the U.S. Army Ranger BN. (1st BN) was formed in Carrickfergus, N. Ireland.

The Christmas Market is magical, even as a local I don't go too often but best thing I got from there was a paella one year.

Also, I never fear for my safety. Yes there are still paramilitaries, but they're small and attacks are very few and far between.

Wonderfully accurate representation of Belfast (speaking as a resident). Only minor point is that you only need to pay for Glider buses before boarding, the ordinary service buses just pay the driver.
