No reference of the Messiah in the Torah and tanahk is the biggest lie I heard all day 🤣

Here’s two just for you

➖ ”Binding his foal unto the vine, And his ass's colt unto the choice vine; He washed his garments in wine, And his clothes in the blood of grapes: His eyes shall be red with wine, And his teeth white with milk.“
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭49‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

➖ ”Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.“
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And this is why He called y’all the synagogue of satan, full of lies

➖ ”I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.“
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

➖ ”Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.“
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

👌🏿

Also the title of the video is incorrect.
You wrote Torah instead of Tanakh.
The Torah is included in the Tanakh.
And the Tanakh is essentially the Christian Old Testament with some variations depending on wether you are reading a Catholic Bible or an Orthodox Bible or Protestant Bible or even Ethiopian Orthodox Bible which has the most books of all with 81 and some reaching over 100 again depending on which church you are enquiring of.

You really proved how little you know in this very short clip, lol. I suggest you get studying if you’re going to “educate” the world on these matters.

God bless you and give you wisdom. May He lead you in all truth. 🙌🔥❤️✝️🙏😊

No Christian says Judaism and Christianity are one and the same, that is so silly. We merely acknowledge the Messiah, you don’t. Apparently you’re still waiting for him and yet have not had a prophet for 2000 years. Funny that.

You made a claim but provided no evidence whatsoever to support your claim. I understand this is a short and there is not much time but you didn’t even give us one piece and on top of that you’re actually (mostly) wrong.

There are a few things to address and a few complexities to this but it’s not all that complex though, it’s pretty simple and it’s actually you who is at fault and who does not understand what Christianity is. I say this with respect but just being direct and to the point.

Christianity is merely the continuation of Judaism so to speak, you guys are waiting for the Messiah we are not. We acknowledge him, he is Jesus, so we believe everything you believe and more.

Also the Talmud is not of God and contains much evil. Well at least aspects of it anyway as it is such a large body of commentaries of commentaries of commentaries…

And we absolutely have not been “taught” these things. We have discovered them through study. The world would be shocked to see how much time Christians spend studying. I have not ever seen any church teach once the things you are claiming we just know them because we read. Not saying no church has ever taught it though lol.

The only difference between the Torah and the Christian Old Testament is that the Protestant version excludes a handful of books but the Catholic Bible does not exclude them and also the orthodox Bible has a few more again and then the Ethiopic Bible has even more books again.

But you would find many Christians are open to these books even though their Protestant Bibles do not contain them.

Like myself for example, I’m currently reading the first book of Adam and Eve and the Testament of the 12 patriarchs and other apocryphal books .

Christians believe Christ was the fulfillment of the Abrahamic covenant, and Christ professed all scriptures were true. Yes, the Catholic Bible has some additional books, but they are historical books that were in the Septuagint, and aren’t “wrong” necessarily. As a Protestant I do encourage all my Christian brothers and sisters to read those books.

We believe Christ was the perfect sacrifice and ended the need for the priestly sacrifices, and the temple is no longer needed since God has given every believer the Spirit. So God doesn’t need a physical earthly place (as if even Solomon’s temple with all its gold and beauty was ever good enough for the creator of all things). We believe his coming is prophesied in multiple places such as in Psalms, Daniel, Malachi, etc. obviously the name Jesus was not used. It’s unfortunate many Christian don’t study their Old Testament and ancient near east history to better understand what it meant to be an Israelite during the Assyrian, Babylonian, and eventually Roman Empire before the Rabbinic movement many years later. It will give you so much more appreciation for God’s full plan, rather just reading the Gospels and the writings of Paul.

The Torah shows God’s unending love and patience with his people, and it makes it even sweeter when you realize God’s plan the entire time was to reclaim ALL nations through Christ. The books during and after the exile document the struggles of God’s people, God’s judgement and ultimately his saving grace for all people who believe.

This is ridiculous. The Torah and Tanakh ARE the written Old Testament. They are exactly the same. There are differences in practice and doctrine between modern Christianity and Second Temple Judaism in that early christians rejected the ORAL talmud and canonized a couple centuries worth of writings from church fathers. Jesus is never referenced in the Old Testament or the torah/tanahk; he is only referenced in the New Testament. Furthermore, Jesus was a devout Jewish man!

You’re technically kinda sorta right in some parts but you legitimately have no clue as to why.

I’m not even religious and I know more about your religion than you. Learn some history and theology before you start spouting nonsense.

But then Jesus Christ said your father is the devil, meaning they were sons of Cain, & not sons of Abraham.

The Jewish scriptures are called the Tanakh, which is a 3 part collection of writings. The word TaNaKh is an acronym. The T stands for Torah, which means instruction or teaching. The N stands for Nevi'im, which is the Hebrew word for prophets, and the K stands for Ketuvim, which is the Hebrew word for writings. The Torah includes the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. The Nevi'im includes Joshua, Samuel, Kings, Isaiah, Jeremiah, ETC. The Ketuvim includes Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Ruth, Chronicles, ETC. The Protestant Christian Bible includes ALL the books of the Tanakh, but in a different order. This part of the Christian Bible is called the Old Testament. The Tanakh is made up of 24 books while the Old Testament is made up of 39 because the Tanakh combines 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel into Samuel. 1 Kings and 2 Kings are combined into Kings. 1 and 2 Chronicles are combined into Chronicles. The twelve minor prophets of the Christian Bible are combined into The Twelve in the Tanakh. The two books of Ezra and Nehemiah are combined into one book for a total of 24 books instead of 39. The 2nd part of the Christian Bible is the New Testament and consists of 27 books detailing the life and teachings of Jesus. None of these 27 books are included in the Hebrew Bible. In other words, everything in the Tanakh is in the Old Testament section of the Protestant Bible, but the Hebrew Scriptures do not include any books from the New Testament

But my confusion comes from your argument, the only difference in the two subjects is the absence of Christ, which jews dispute to be the true messiah... If the stories are the same, if the teachings are similar, if it walks, and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck.

How tragic is that?,to have a TEMPLE IN RUINS*,that is NOT OF GOD because it doesn't acknowledge THE MESSIAH*
Messiah destroyed THE TEMPLE as HE SAID HE WILL....and is still in RUINS...

Isaiah 8:14

“Then He shall become a sanctuary;
But to both the houses of Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over,
And a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Isaiah declared, “The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread, and he will be a sanctuary; but for both houses of Israel he will be a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare. Many of them will stumble; they will fall and be broken, they will be snared and captured.”

Daniel speaking of a vision of Nebuchadnezzar, “While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them,”

Daniel 2:34

Psalm 118:22

The stone which the builders rejected,
Has become the chief corner stone.
