Horrible voice acting, mediocre animation. The only thing worth a one time, just to check it out, $5.99 are the painting tutorials. Fans have made better quality animated lore than what GW has put on WH+

I can’t believe this is about a year old and I am only just now getting around to watching these…

space wolves are by far my favorite space marine chapter and faction in 40k, I love the who Norse feel of them. I wish there was more animations for them. I'm guessing it's because of the fact that they have the most aesthetics such as furs and totems and usually don't wear helmets, makes them harder to animate or do a cinematic

With each chapter only being able to have a thousand Marines all these trials and rituals seem to take forever.

and then the pup immediately died on his first battlefield from taking a piece of random shrapnel to the head because he didn't wear a helmet......seriously man, we don't need to see their faces, that could've and should've been the whole point of zooming in on the tooth and showing it on his chest as the camera panned out. Ffs, if the animation is gonna be shit, atleast do a little better in other areas.

One killed by a bat, the other by a bear but this one was able to slay a wolf.

The most redeemable aspect of this is the voice acting. It’s fluid, lively, and on point. I wish the animation matched it a bit more, if this were a fan project I’d say it was stellar given they wouldn’t even have a quarter of what GW could spend. I’m not mad, just disappointed

Hammer and Bolter is just such an utter disappointment. You have a single person who made the best on screen representation of 40k (Astartes), and yet the best that this billion dollar company can do is make a motion comic. Truly pathetic, but hey maybe they are just that dense.
