I would love to use amenoma...If I had a sword billet. I'm planning to give her the flute once I get her since I think it gives the same ish atk with amenoma.

I feel like this depends on your team, for a freeze ayaka, i would usually run sucrose with ttds, and probably mona with tenacity set, and benny so lower base attack doesnt really matter, so for my team, i need more crit damage because too much attack is also bad especially if you have lower crit damage. I also get my burst even if it's on cooldown due to how much particles sucrose generate. (116 er ayaka)

As a new player, I think amenoma is the better f2p option cause then you can use your starglitter for more pulls on other characters, the difference is not that big to justify I think? If you have a bunch of them laying around and you already got good rosters then I guess it's the better option

Blackcliff's damage advantage against amenoma will keep on increasing the more built the supports are. This is because energy recharge (amenoma's bread and butter), attack, and elemental dmg bonus can be supplied by supports, while crit value will only come from main dps' stats, weapons, and artifacts. As much as possible, main dps should have crit damage weapon

if you use atk% circlet on blackclif you will get WAY more damage

no one uses Bennett with ayaka on freeze teams, so i think anemona is better

i have amenoma r5 on my ayaka and this energy recharge is crazy!! by the end of ayaka’s ult with rosaria wearing favonius lance i already have full energy

Sword billets are a myth. 😛

I could get an R3 Amenoma, but at the cost of every billet I have remaining. 😅 R5 after the Chasm and actually unlocking the Amenoma blueprint. It's a struggle out here.

what artifact do you use for ayaka?

amenoma :
- completely free (u also get 1 free sword prototype by leveling up sakura tree, so theres no excuse "i dont hv the prototype")
- gives u flat energy, means it decreases ER requirement on ur ayaka. it also means a dps increase cause ER roll on ur substats can be used to get more atk/crit stats
- also the refinement is really great upgrade as well
- (subjective) aesthetically pleasing on ayaka

blackliff :
- 1 blackliff copy equal to 4 to 5 pulls, so for r5 it will be 24 to 25 pulls
- gives u more dmg with the trade of that u need to invest on ER, cause theres no flat energy like amenoma
- the passive is too conditional, useless when u're on 1v1 situation againts boss type enemy, or againts something like lectors that need plenty of time to kill one of them
- also the passive is kinda clunky to utilize. while 70-80% of ur dmg came from ur burst, u'll find situation where u killed ur enemies from ur burst. but because the burst itself is snapshotted, u can't get the benefit from the passive on ur burst. so u need to kill couple enemies through ur NA/skill, then cast ur burst (or just hoping u can keep the full stack for the next rotation)
- cdmg mainstats, cause lot of player thought that cdmg > atk, while actually its not a big of a deal
- absolutely destroy amenoma on 1 cycle scenario, cause u'll be neglecting ER requirement for 2nd rotation & going for full dmg (but 1 cycle is usually a whale thing. tbh I rarely see an f2p capable of 1 cycling content. then if u're a whale, just go for ur mistplitter rather than talking abt amenoma vs blackliff) xD

I would say in inazuma sword is better cause it does just a tiny bit less but has a extremely useful passive.

I have r2 blackcliff, my stat : 1.9k atk, crit ratio 29/258. but i could craft r5 amenoma. Which one is better? I dont want to waste my billet if r2 blackcliff is better especially in spiral abyss

Considering the fact that 4pc BS + Cryo resonance give 55% crit rate you dont need black sword to be better

this is a good example of diminishing returns when it comes to stats

Amenoma has higher atk at start but lesser crit dmg compared to amenoma which had too much crit dmg, thus it did more dmage.

When buffed however, amenoma had too much atk and lesser crit dmg compared to blackcliff resulting in blackcliff doing more damage.

amenomas high burst uptime and less situation conditional weapon makes it a far better weapon overall imo.

Tbh ima fan of Amenoma design.. Have both R5 amenoma and blackcliff..

here is some clearingconfusion tips based imo.

If u do some serious research yall may find or alredy knew there are not many players know that the key to gain the peak damage of the char is u must balance the character damage scaling stat.. Which is for most character is HP%/DEF%/ATK%/CDMG%.. So that u will not get the diminishing return which is that is not a myth.. Diminishing return is a fact..

And one of the not knowing this basic to know things or maybe not aware is the content maker of this video..

4pc Emblem Set + ER sands + Cryo Gob + ATK% Circlet or ATK% Gob + CDMG% Circlet is definitly destroy amenoma

Not to mention + teambuff/bennet/sara/ttds/milelith/noblese..that is a slap so hard on amenoma..

And if u run Ayaka with Cryo Battery like Diona nor Rosaria u dont need that Amenoma passive wich need u to wait 30s to cast 3 times/rotation E for 3 full stack.. Even if ur Ayaka is C1 it is a waste n not efficien.. Thats why u ofc for fcksake need Cryo Battery not just for ER but for the resonance as well not again to mention if you run her with blizzard set..

And thats why Blackcliff is way outscaling Amenoma.. Either for Abyss or even for bosses..Period

Most buffs scale with BASE atk so a weapon with higher base atk is more desireble for team comps

i prefer blackcliff because it also buffs your ATK each kill to 3 stacks

Blackcliff has higher maximum potential compared to Amenoma. When refined 5 times, it can give 650 extra damage with 3 stacks. The potential further increase when crit rate is higher, maximising the 37% crit damage. It is not good at all for bosses, but if it's for mob, it's very great.

blackcliff sword is quite costly as compared to amenoma kageuchi which can be grinded easily with its passive being able to satisfy all er needs with r5 if in comparison with blackcliff sword(the amount of starglitter blackcliff sword uses is a lot for f2p players, its like 120-150 pulls worth of starglitter and i personally think tht we should pull bennett or xingqiu when they are in shop rotation instead of getting this weapon) and i just think tht it server greater purpose on someone like xingqiu who can do a lot better with this sword

Amenoma is better

First of all, u wouldnt use ayaka with bennett unless you are playing melt, which is not a good team, that's why with bennett is better blackcliff, but overall, amenoma kageuchi is still better, nevertheless, it's also easier to charge the burst and you will need less energy recharge using amenoma kageuchi, so it's highly better than blackcliff.

So which one is better for her?

Ik I’m pretty late to this vid, but I really need som advice. My two main dps’s are Keqing and Ayaka, and I’m really struggling to decide whether I should go amenoma on Keqing or Ayaka. The other one gets to have the blackcliff longsword btw

If we are being honest, who uses benett with ayaka in abyss? Also Amenoma gives back burst faster

I still prefer amenoma, its fits to her and the damage is not really big, if you really big damage youcan go to her sig weapon.
