I like to imagine, in an alternate 40k universe where alternate timelines are accessable, the custodes decide to bring over stuff from said timelines to make the Blood Games even more spicy. One brings in Roboutian Heresy Blood Angels while another brings in a group of Malal daemons

The imperial palace is not really continent sized, it’s actually roughly the size of Tibet as it takes up the whole Himalayas. Maps of it even look roughly the same as the geographic boundaries of Tibet and Nepal, presumably Big E took it from the age of strife equivalent of a futuristic Mad Max Dalai Lama warlord. Or at least I hope he did.

Apparently all a custodes needed to do was have a faulty light switch installed and open the dark cells

I feel like the daemons love the custodies because there just waiting to join in the game so when they look for a daemon I feel as if the daemons would just start waving there hands and say “pick me pick me”

The Castodians are so broken; while Astartes Chapters drive off Xenos, Heretics, & Daemons for survival, the Custodes casualy drop & summon all manors of galactic terrors to them for sport just their skill level dosent drop.

I thought the blood games were introduced at the end of the Valdor book when valdor compares them with what the thunderwarriors used to have. So as to stay sharp.

Apparantly now, there's a bit of lore where a Female Custodes (which is now becoming a thing in the lore) literally teleported a Cyclonic Torpedo, an exterminatus level explosive that can destroy a whole planet, into the throne room itself. Bit overkill for a blood game isn't it?

Blood games? On krieg that just basic training. Anyone who is fit to fight but not fight to fight in the emperors army are given weapons and armor and sent to hold a ruined hive on the surface of the homeworld, the trainees are ordered to take the hive and are tested on how well they do, any survivors on the trainees side move on, the other side pick up their weapons and get ready for the next group

imagine the custodes just having a deal with Trazyn to get some of his collection every now and again and in return giving him some interesting loot/toys
