I applaud the PFS for letting him speak freely, but needs to point out that at this time I remember that hardly anyone had any idea what the alt-right was about - including me, most libertarians, ancaps, even alt-righters themselves & I'm pretty sure most PFS members as well - but I guess that this was the reason back then why he was invited: everyone wanted to hear from someone inside of the alt-right what that was even about & by now it became increasingly clear & I need to point this out to clarify misconceptions that in its core this movement & world view does have little to none in common with libertarianism & anarchocapitalism - national & group sovereignty vs individual sovereignty, legal realism vs natural law (private property theory) - but I admit that this is difficult to point out because both world views have vastly dispersed movements.
ОтветитьThanks so much for the upload. Vintage RS is always appreciated.
ОтветитьWho cares what Richard Spencer thinks about anything?
ОтветитьIs it just me or is Richard Spencer an absolute bore to listen to? His tone and cadence sound like that of a Hollywood art gallery manager who isn't quite passionate about this latest postmodern installation, but wants to make a sale, so he digs deep and describes the intent and message of the artist, even though he has no idea what the intent or message of the artist actually is, but that doesn't matter because the barbarian automotive executive and his trophy wife are clueless, uncultured filth. Just my impression.
