How To Set Different Notification Sounds For Different Apps On iPhone

THATS WHY YOU HAVE TO BUY ANDROID , ESPECIALLY SAMSUNG.... NOT EVEN A SOUND FOR WHATEVER APP YOU WANT...

For those wondering, this man seemed to choose apps where you can change the sound. All other apps except those that are not under “default alerts” can be changed in the “sounds and haptics” for example face time and call are both considered ringtone, so changing FaceTime ringtone will auto change the call one aswell.

And yet another reason why Apple sucks

Not working anymore. I need to separate my work app sounds from my personal sounds before I go insane

My Ring app used to chime and sound different, now the notification sounds like everything else. Can I change it back?

It’s because iOS does not allow apps to have individual sounds. Only certain apps like iMessage etc.

Years go by.....and Apple does not change this for 3rd party apps. I was a xiaomi user, and its customized layers was just brutal. A bit dissapointed here!

TLDR: This only works for specific (apple) apps.

Seems like Apple changed this option, I hate when they take options away, rip all my work into knowing what is what from the sounds, it pisses me off tbh

pointless video - this is basic ios stuff. a 3 min video is not needed when three lines of instruction work fine

Ok but for my camera outside my apartment I can’t change the notification sounds

picking a sound doesnt seem to be an option anymore

since i updated to ios 17 i cant change the sounds anymore for most apps and theres a new sound that is really annoying, can you help with that too😕

There is no select sound, only off/on

This option is not available for all the apps.

The third-party one is strange. I don't understand why they wouldn't include an option for that.
