PhRO? Actually what I do in real life is, tell them the two outcomes their action would likely have, it'll give you either this or this. If none of those outcomes solves the issue then I tell the them that's not a correct action. That's the only time I disagree. If it is likely that it will work then why not, I'll agree. If they are in charge we have to do it so, one of the two effects happened but no matter what happened it never solved the problem, but in work there is never an I told you so.

ОтветитьWhen you are being interviewed with these scripted interviews your chances of getting hired are near zero. They already have someone. An interview that is more like a conversation yields a much higher chance. They are checking off boxes with scripted interviews.

Thanks Andrew, I got the job! I’ve been job hunting for over a year and I knew that I had the skills and experience- just wasnt getting any interviews. I used the Cv template and got the interview book. Got 4 interviews within one month and a job within one week of the first interview. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!
ОтветитьSome employers require the STAR format and will dock you for not hitting one of those points, especially the result point. IE: Caterpillar
ОтветитьDuring a behavioral question that is long and catches you off guard (you weren’t prepared for it) is it ok to write the question down and ask the interviewer to repeat the question ? I didn’t ask to repeat the question BUT I attempted to answer the best I could - I honestly though don’t even remember what the question was
