I can relate to all of them... But the one with the social battery sometimes really happens in the middle of socializing. And then you can only stand there, blankely staring somewhere and hoping no one will ask you how you are doing. Because you will either cry or implode.

I really hate the situation when a teacher asks a question and you know the answer, but you don't want to say it out loud so you just have to listen to the teacher who is trying to get everyone on the right track when you already know it or even worse when you do decide to say it but they don't hear you and assume that nobody in the class knows the answer..

10 situations I experience every single day

is it just me or do we introverts actually get numb in case of emotions, like... regarding stuff irl, i mean i have plenty of emotional outbursts regarding games but irl it feels like i dont have any at all lmao

Number 8 is rough for me right now because I'm on my first serious relationship where I really love this girl but she's really struggling with my need to recharge after spending a whole day together with her. Like it's wonderful bieng with her. I normally get tired of hanging with people after a few hours but I love being with her and don't get drained until maybe like the 10 hour mark, but she still really takes my need for space at times personally. It's hard becasue I know for sure it's something I just can't change about myself.

Listen when I’ve fully recharged and I well literally can then yea sure take me away but when I get drained that is a whole different story LEAVE ME ALONE IM GONNA DIE and the the people never shut up and then I get completely drained out and enter that weird non-verbal state and my brain just locks up yep just bye bye just goes offline completely and then I get all stressed out it’s harder for me to think and other stuff like that and it’s actually annoying

The struggle is real man. My fiancé is going out of town to see his family. I am unable to go. I feel a little bit guilty about this but... I am soooo looking forward to finally having the house completely to myself.
I can listen to music as loud as I want! I can play video games all night long and not have him constantly interrupting me! OMG I might even be able to get through the entire night completely sober!😱He's an introvert too, but he seems to be the type that always needs just one person to be with. Whereas I can never get enough time to myself, especially now that I live with him! And I am progressively becoming more and more irritable and bitchy because I want the entire world, including him, to just go away and leve me the fuck alone! I do love him more than anything, but I am going insane because I just desperately need to be actually alone for several hours a day and i just don't get that anymore.

The social battery!!!!! Hahaha triple A battery. I love how it was acted out. I do feel like that. Or like I have to go into my own private room and never resurface until everyone has left.

Watching these to better understand my introvert friends.

My Mum used to get mad...'How come you're just standing there?'. Then it got a bit painful cos I could see she would be watching me to try to match her reaction to mine in an attempt to be supportive. In my head,'I really am as happy as everyone else, I just don't quite know how to be, to help you understand that'. Really, I just try not to do people. It's extremely hard work. Gives bouts of insomnia and worry ahead of events.

It's too real...the finish a book part is spot on. I binged entire Gilmore Girls show and was very upset without knowing why so I guess it happens with TV shows too. Lol

The funny thing is that I once dragged my friend who's highly extroverted to a karaoke bar. Just wanted to have fun because I was on a study abroad and that was 2 days before my flight back home.

Of course, I did came unprepared, to an emo/punk themed party with my casual clothing on, so I tried my best to pretend I'm having fun and beat it out. He joined later as well, but I could see his initial disappointment and embarassment after coming in unprepared/out of place.

He got very well with an another guy (let's call him Bob) at the party so later Bob asked my friend about that person who dragged him in. He pointed at me, and to Bob's surprise, he refused to believe that it was me who dragged him in. It's so hard to get noticed if you're an introvert, much less when there's loud music playing in the background and I can't even hear what I'm saying to others!

Regardless I'm glad I gave it my all, and even happier for my friend to have fun as well!
