My solution: dual boot 10.4 and 10.5!

The diskutil restore method doesn't work, nor does dd'ing it over. I haven't tried "carbon copy" method yet but I doubt that would make a difference. Saying you simply have to restore it over is misleading.

OSX is where it got all gross and shiny and Steve Jobs-y. Pre-OSX UI forever!! Does that trigger Mac people? Well that's my statement for the combustion chamber, lol.

I just bought a few upgrades to renew my aging powerpc, top case, speakers waiting on the new keyboard. Still use Sorbet, just amazing and sad that apple knew 10.5 sucked, fixed it but wouldnt share the fix with powerpc platforms on purpose.

I was looking at running Linux on my PowerPC hardware, but now, it looks like Sorbet is a better alternative. 🙏

And just don't do it. Use the ORIGINAL install disks. Because... you know.

I am waiting for Apple to release a PowerPC laptop as a nostalgic trip .

In the future it has the OSX newer than ventura for M silicon only(cannot install to the intel). I wish we can install that OS to the intel macs with the patcher.
