Peg Soap: For pegs that keep slipping!

For my lyres I have always needed a extra talc or chalk with Violin peg soap to keep the pegs from slipping in the drier months of the year, Violin Peg soap is good for stopping pegs from getting stuck but not always for holding them at tension. My recipe leaves out the graphite and adds more fine pumice powder. ( I use cosmetic grade soaps and powders in these)

I make these Peg soaps myself in my workshop in batches, supplied with instructions, sandpaper and some extra chalk if more resistance is needed.
