This series is toxic, just like the After series,and Kissing Booth series . I see they love for us to idolize narcissism, manipulation, mental and emotional abuse. I could name other movies and shows with this story line.😢😢

Folks he never lied about what he wanted. The contracts he had clearly stated what he wanted. He only wanted BDSM and nothing else. He knows he has issues and so he refused regular relationships. So when Anna expects him to be regular, ofc things aren't gonna go so well. How is it Grey's fault?? Anna should have refused his advances from the beginning. For example: When he invites her first to his playroom and gives the contract, He reminds Anna there is a helicopter on top of the building to take her home. She stayed. All fault is on Grey, none on Anna? -_-. Grey never wanted a regular relationship. Just a sub.

I really wish they would’ve stuck to the book.

Christian...why are you upset with Ana? I understand being upset about the situation overall, but if she 'came home' like he told her...the SAME thing would have happened. And because these two have horrible communication skills and haven't been together that long, the in this scene and the next she tries to initiate sex, because to her thats the ONLY way she can become close to him.

He doesn't love Anna or he care cause he kept her in danger at least if he feels in love with her he keeps her away from any danger

If I may add my 2 cents..I think what upset Christian so much is he is desperate to keep her safe. She seemed to understand the danger they were in & PROMISED him she would come straight home. Consent, promises & trust are extremely important to him. I think anyone would be upset if their spouse broke a promise to them..especially when they're 3,000 miles away from them. Then when he found out what Jack did, it infuriated him that he this was a possibility & wasn't able to prevent it. The "what if"'s played in his head & it completely terrified him. Remember he has dreams of Ana dying..so to him..that almost became a reality. I think it infuriated him that Ana would not only break her promise but that she would take such an unnecessary chance like that. In Ana's defense..she didn't know all the things Christian knew about what Jack was doing..if she had..I think she would have come straight home
