Hoping for overall face detection improvements. I just filmed a week long shoot of a park ranger who was wearing his ranger hat that cast a shadow over his face the whole time. The face detect was unreliable, even when he was perfectly exposed in sunlight. Light skin, no glasses, native RF lenses.

LOVE the reboot speedup! I don't switch modes as much as a like purely due to the slow reboot time.

Can you please roll out a patch for the pixel-shift bug that left it enabled on this camera even though it doesn't have IBIS? I made a video about it and tried contacting CanonUSA but got nothing. Is it limited to custom modes or could this be a problem outside of that?
