Having a Finance Masters before taking your CFA exams may make learning the content easier as much of it is covered in Masters studies. However, if one has attained their CFA before taking a Finance Masters, it is not worth the time, effort and money to attain a Masters degree.

I did a 3 y bachelor in business and economics, a 2y masters in bankig and finance (public university) and a 1y master in quantitative finance and risk management (top business school). And now I obtained my CFA charter!! :)
