How to Calculate the Dividend Payout Ratio | Lumovest

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking of putting the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it's ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

What if you don't have those numbers on the statement or you have a partial statement?
Wouldn't be formula:

(Common dividend / Common shares) / Market price per share = Dividend yield %
So we need to find the Common dividend payout divide by the total number of Common shares and then divide it by the Market price per share.

i wish your explanation was more basic. ex: The purple company has a dividend yield of 4.5 percent. how much does that actualize when its paid out to you.
