So pretty much everything besides handling is average at best. Focus starts from €31k in Finland. That is quite an expensive proposition.

Yes but that's just you being a bit awkward with the car maps and listening to Spotify at the same time.
As you would automatically use Google Maps with Spotify with Android auto anyway because it's better than the car sat nav

The Focus replacement has alot to live up to. (Although the Ecoboost engine debacle soured that somewhat).

@Mat, you don't have to disconnect your mobile phone if you want to use the Ford navigation. In Android Auto you have the shortcut to return to Sync which it does, you continue to listen to Spotify and start any functionality in Sync including the navigation.

I've jammed my head in a stupid Dacia Sandero's door becuase the car is so unnecessarilly tall and the top of the back door is quite long it makes that stupid pointy angle.

What about the automatic version is it dual-clutch or which technology please, I want to buy a used ford focus 2020, thanks.

I used to have both this one and the previous one as a company car. The step up in terms of interiour quality and equipment is enourmous. Actually I find the previous 3rd generation to feel even cheaper made than the 2nd generation Focus.

Just had one on a rental for a week and it's one of the best cars I've ever driven the fiesty 1ltr turbo easily embarrasses big German power cars it drives like XR3 but with 2021 tech. Steering handling & gearchange are fun. its relentless yet friendly. Just love this car

I have to compliment this car. My parents have a 69 plate titanium auto and I really like the times I’m a passenger in it. Very comfortable in the back and very good interior space for the size. They’ve had no rattles or issues so far. Could be quicker but that’s it

Mat you can turn off lane kepping assist u have a button to turn it off there where u turn blinkers on and off

On my Focus the back seat base lifts forward so that when you drop the seat backs they go flat! (2016 Focus)

Something about ford interiors just look shite! Such a shame because there's a lot to like about this car but I just can't look past it.

I don't mind this model but the only thing I would change is the electronic handbrake, i prefer the manual one

I have just done 1600 miles in a 2021 Focus ST Line 1.0 Ecoboost, manual. My previous and most recent cars have been an Audi A4 TDI, BMW330E, Audi A3 Etron PHEV, Audi A3 4.0 TDI-E, a VW-ID4 and an MG5-EV. I was a bit shocked how good the Focus is and how good the 125 BHP Ecoboost engine is. I have been driving like Miss Daisey most of the time as the government tax on fuel only allows me to claim £0.13 per mile and I've averaged 50mpg on the trip computer. However the trip computer is around 3MPG over optimistic. The handling is sublime in corners, it sticks like shit to a blanket. If they did a PHEV version I'd buy one. Currently there are no more Focus models being produced as some of the parts come from Ukraine.

Question/help. Is it normal... a closing/opening door lock sound (tsok tsok 🤣) under the hood? I heard it every time i get out of the car (engine cold) or just standing near the car, after several seconds mystery sound will occur several times. What is it? Is it a sensor that connects key fob and the car? Thanks

I have the 2020 Ford focus and honestly it's a great car, practical and neat I got the 1 litre petrol Automatic a bit juicy but does the job I get 30mpg from it but good drive

Please do one of the 2022 version, new facelift, added features and new infotainment :)

If you need to worry about a door i also think those people should put a cork on their forks not to injure their face and eyes 😂

Took one to edinburgh and back with a 1.0 ecoboost teeny 125ps engine. Was ok up to the job just about. Handled well even for a narrow high sidewalled wheeled shopper. I had sold my runaround astra k 1.4 turbo a few weeks prior and although that was faster in a straight line ford just know how to make one handle. I was sad to hand it back. Some awful trim on the doorcard but generally was ok. Oh and the phone car play in built map thing drove me insane i thought it was just me!!!

I am driving Focus last 20 years. MK I and MK III (I dont like back lights in MK II :P ) and I love it. I only really dont understand why in MK III independent suspension is only in top models. :( My MK I in 2000 have had it in cheapest (the very basic) version. As standard.

I do love the focus but if buying it for long term use bare in mind when it becomes time to change the Cam belt it will set you back £1500 because on eco boost engines it's built into the engine
