sometimes, we need an idiot who doesn't care anything but fights. Hellscream ignorance allows him to build up the courage to fight tough opponents - Not to mention Mannoroth has been Orc's nightmare for generations but he was like "nah I'd win :)".
Anyway, It's true that he committed many mistakes which became bigger and bigger over time - also, his personality could be the worst tbh but I respect him for being a true warrior until the end. Such an idiotic character can become a hero surprised me tho.

This dude kills mannoroth with a single axe strike while arthas need a entire scourge to slay a Female ranger.

"Missbegotten race" i felt that shit.

I was 20 back then, this one runs deep, best blizzard cinematic ever. This blizzzard is no more, but will be remembered.

Back when Warcraft had testosterone characters

I miss real warcraft. This is that real, dark, brutal dark fantasy masculine shit that we grew up on. Now WC as fake. Modern retail WoW is a game about cultural sensitivity and emotional communication, a game about progressivity and inclusion. You know... the exact opposite of what WC used to be. Remember where we started and what people want/like? This cinematic was peak and embodies that sentiment.

How old I was ? 10-12?? …. And still I like old Hellscream more then the WoD

This scene used to terrified me. Manoroth towering over Grom and Thrall is just so menacing to little old me

Dammit, after seeing this masterpiece a number of times now going all the way back to the early 2000s, it wasnt that long ago when i noticed that Grom's eyes went back to their natural state after killing Mannoroth.

2024, 22 years later. Still one of the best game cinematics in history. Miss you Blizzard.

WC3 is a legendary game. If it wasn't for the lazy WoW we would had WC4 by now.

I watched this over and over again as a 13-year old. It might sound like hyperbole, but the simplicity and directness of Grom's arc helped me navigate right from wrong on an emotional level, especially as a male. I still believe, 20 years older, that the Orc campaign taught me how to be a better person. Because I have always, since I was eight and WC2 was the thing, loved the Orc's, but found their default evil to be propaganda.

Edit: My fucking god, I hope Frostgiant Games nail it.

It always amazes me how little money was put into the remake of this.

Genuinely, as someone who loved the original, this is a travesty.

Every detail, the artwork, ... this is from 20+ years ago!!! The level of perfection in such a Orc characters. Think for a second, there's another work of an Orc so well made as these two? In terms of manifestation of strengh, power, brute force,... Lotr, war hammer, wherever orcs have been represented throughout the decades!

And how imponent is Mannoroth here? LOL, no easy to critics this!

Wait, where was the slow-paced dialouge about family? This isn't the Blizzard writing I know! I require storytelling suited for a children's cartoon! /s
