I charge at 40% and finish at 80% amd thats good enough for me

when it comes to not using the phone for games or notifications it doesnt make sense. we are talking about battery health, not battery life. so not using the phone would be ideal for both but whats the point of having a 1000$ phone then?

I’ve had my iPhone 12 for a couple of years now and it’s still at 100% battery health. I guess I’ve been lucky.

Wow! I’m still using my 13 Pro Max going on two years this coming October, anyway what I did was to fully charged my phone before updating the iOS software and this year (2023) 100% to 99%. Idk if anybody else does but I do.

For some reason when I go to that data thing to check my cycle I don’t see any log aggregated

I have bought my iphone 13 pro in november. At the end of december I had 98%. Now at March 1st it dropped to 93%. Thats 7% in 4 months… I’m only using original apple chargers. Don’t know what should I do differently.

Biggest thing is honestly just charging it once a day and using an apple cable. I’ve had my 13 pro max for over a year now and still have 100% health

Take care of your health first before your iphone battery health. Thinking too much about your battery health will eventually ruin your health life. How are you going to replace it?

I'm not convinced that the battery health figure is a good indicator to trust. I just had to retire my trusty old IPhone 8 when the battery life dropped to 2 hours, despite having a reported health of 82%.

bought iphone 13 in Jan 2022. 1st 8 months battery was 100%. Suddenly after ios upgrade battery degradation started, last Jan 2023 battery around 88% sold it and bought an new 14 plus.

Battery Health just a gimmick to psychologically make consumers buy new iPhones or at leat purchase a new battery.
Apple knows innvoation is hard, they can't come up with brand new features every year and to keep getting sales they have to do something so people can upgrade.
Apple's so called "software-hardware integration" for you.

I game on my phone :/ so my phones batteries never last long 😥 unfortunately the processor my husband got my pc doesn't support virtualization sooo I can't use an emulator on my PC 😥
