Content keeps getting better thanks captain
ОтветитьAnd also I tried to place a solar panel to the cyclops to get power that way but it doesn’t let you. Which sucks. That woulda helped a lot lol 😂
ОтветитьKool I’m gonna have to do that thermal thing. Cuz man the power drains so damn fast. So I just leave 2 at a time and take the rest out. And put new ones when coming back to it. And I have more power cell chargers at the base so gotta have unlimited cells charged lol 😂 and having to build 4 seamoths cuz I’ve had to destroyed by those damn octopus things lol and then drowned cuz I was to far down. And forgot to take an xtra tank lol
ОтветитьWhere is that thermal spot located?
ОтветитьWorth noting the shield will knock any larva off the moment you activate it
Ответитьi have a series of bases with double cell chargers. I tend to build 'logistic chains' ps. you can NEVER have enough copper. Build those scanner rooms in different biomes to save ALOT of time
ОтветитьI'm about to blow mine up. It is completely useless. Not only does it drain extremely fast even with everything turned off, you can't see anything when you're driving it. It's too big and has a small window that you can only look straight ahead. If I try to move it for the few seconds I have power, I hit everything. It's more hassle than it's worth.
ОтветитьI use ion cells for my cyclops
ОтветитьHalf way between my gameplay I got an ion battery. I dont remember how I got it, I just used it on my repulsion canon since it used up a lot of juice.
ОтветитьI spent an hour getting a full lockers worth of power cells, and I’m still worried I’ll loose power.
Ответитьso where did you place the cyclops recharged in clip. i cant find that place. some on gimme a world ros
Ответить2 yrs later and it’s still a problem. They’ve actually put some other updates in the game now, but not for the cyclops
ОтветитьI have an idea to leave it in the Lava Zone I accidentally discovered a 2nd entrance in The Lost River so I'm going to leave it there next to the Lava falls. Somewhat away from the Sea Dragon.
ОтветитьI was thinking you could use a power cell charger, so I used 100% of one powercell’s power to charge the other one to full..
ОтветитьThank you, sir. I was wondering if more power cell chargers would just drain the power more.
Ответитьomg bro thank you i ran out of power inside the lava zone and i didn’t know what to do lmao 😭
Ответитьi was your 500th subscriber lets go
ОтветитьIt's called having a huge supply of backup batteries.
Ответитьhow the heck do i use my light tho.
ОтветитьWould be nice if we could drive this thing on nuclear power
Ответитьguys, why to be bullied by such stupid dev decision? if you can build nuclear reactor in the base, why not in the cyclops? they should simply add this option, and not bother players with such stupid thing like energy in the submarine..
and also the shield is unusable, drawing constantly so much power, it's just ridiculous
A little trick when you make energy cells they are completely full so if you have enough material your vehicle is almost empty just craft the energy cells and swap them and you have it Get more energy
ОтветитьDon't worry I have 3 power charges in my base
ОтветитьGood stuff!
ОтветитьBtw: don’t put power cell chargers in your cyclops it will just drain the power cells already in the cyclops
Ответитьi'm almost too afraid to explore which ruins the game for me. but i'm almost at 50 hours.
Ответитьthanks. i FEEL your PAIN
ОтветитьYeah my first playthrough, I didn’t give 2 thoughts to powering this damn thing and got my Cyclops stranded DEEP in the volcano area. I had to swim all the way out, died, had to really strategize on what to do next and it was a huge ordeal getting it back. Nice video
ОтветитьIM STRANDED ATM THANKS MATE ILL GIVE IT A SHOT . im playing on hardcore so if i die the game deletes lol
Ответить👍
ОтветитьJust get the mod cyclops nuclear powered and fix all energy issues
Ответитьi just keep a locker with enough supplies for a hallway, solar and thermal generators, and cell chargers.
ОтветитьSincerely love these power-cell tips too. I had 3 I think and was wondering what the hell I was doing wrong. I will bite my tongue and get the freaking kyanite too. ugh. I totally love how you emphasized 'one' and miiiiiserably XD I LOVE this game..I really do. Also if there was a way to bring your seamoth anywhere (a depth module as good as the PRAWN since I love my sea moth far better). But I agree with this, and also I wish there was a mode where you could explore without being attacked <_< (I'm on the Switch. I don't have any of the mods that others do). and the FRAME RATE OMGOSH. Mushroom forest is just the worst, man. Slapped into mushrooms all the time @_@ and by the time you get the Ion batteries it's just......if you're actually 'playing', they're frickin useless for your stuff. now, I honestly just play for building bases now haha. I've beat the game once, now I just play for scanning every piece of scrap haha and mining all the nodes I can find.
ОтветитьHere's better quicker methods to keep it charged up faster especially before thermal reactor unlocked. Focus on getting the seamoth solar charger. If you are near the last bit of energy, wait till day time and keep switching. That seamoth solar will charge so quick for the 200s.
ОтветитьSome things I've figured out to get the most out of every power cell, is to just be super sparring with how you use your power. Ahead slow or ahead standard at all times, only ever using ahead flank under the most dire of emergencies. Even then, I've found that just powering down the engines was enough to get the leviathans to leave you alone. After that just hop in the cameras, keep tabs on where big angry is, and once they're far enough away proceed SLOWLY. Sometimes it'd take me 20 minutes or so to get past the ghost leviathan in the lost river. But I always got past, and I've never lost a Cyclops.
Also, minimize the amount of time you have silent running, sonar, and the shield on. If you do have to use silent running, ahead slow ONLY. Any faster and you're not only going to burn through power cells like a Game Gear through AA's, but you're also making about as much noise as if you were running ahead slow without silent running.
TL;DR - Yes, the Cyclops is a massive beast of a craft. But one who's greatest strength is slipping by unnoticed. I've gotten to the point where I don't even install the shield or decoy upgrades, just because I never use them. Still have yet to lose a Cyclops too.
thx for the help love the vid
ОтветитьAre the power sell chargers still okay to have in the cyclops
ОтветитьThanks for this tip!
ОтветитьUsing power cells to power power cells: charging the charger with itself
ОтветитьI like to leave my base and to go visit random locations like the lava zones sit there for about 5 subnautica days then move on the another location with out coming back to the base for about 3 subnautica weeks
Ответитьyea man thx it helped. I abandoned that motherfucker after that...:)
ОтветитьHow do you take the battery out to change it I can’t take it it don’t work
ОтветитьI only do that with my prawn suit I dont bring my cyclops down there
ОтветитьYo 2021 here. Thermal cell charger on a praun suit is a bit faster charge. I'm currently stuck in the active lava zone. Using the praun thermal reactor to charge all the cells.
ОтветитьIt would have been as simple as letting us install a goddam nuclear reactor inside the thing, like regular earth subs are powered and thats it 😑🤬
ОтветитьNiceeeeeeeee
Ответитьthe cyclops was a truly useless vehicle. Seamoth was much better.
Ответитьi swap out the cells one at a time in the seamoth with a solar charger , put in an empty one , come back to a full one in no time at all, as well as have power cell charger stations around the map, or two at a time with the prawn with a thermal module when u get it, but early game the moth with a solar charger is great
ОтветитьYou could use ion batteries instead of regular batteries. The ion last a lot longer
Ответить
