ОтветитьI'm a scientist, not a programmer, and Flutter enabled me to write a very niche science app for a wide range of platforms for a secondary source of income. Looking from the outside, this hostility programmers have towards certain things seems very weird.
To me the main concern is Google canning the Flutter project like they do with countless products, but with Google Earth now being done in flutter, it might might not happen.
The fact is that there isnt many flutter jobs out there as compared to React Native, and thats saying something. With the advent of Expo these days, the DX of React Native far outweighs Flutter.
ОтветитьKMM will kill flutter eventually as it is heavily supported by Google and jet brains. Also who wants to learn a new language for just one framework.
ОтветитьNah flutter definitely way ahead react native. React native/react takes different directions every year or so with new frameworks
Ответитьbruh "devs" today are pussies. What the fuck is "learning flutter" dart is the fucking easiest language on the planet I feel like I can type with my ass and it will understand what I mean. seriously I didn't read a single line of documentation before starting to make apps in flutter. You just have to look at a few examples. That's also valid for JavaScript and other toy/children languages. That's what happens when people that think learning programming means learning syntax. Skill issue. real devs code in assembly and maybe C when they want to make an MVP or are lazy. Haskell is also a valid choice for the BDSM and mathematician community. I use arch btw.
Ответитьthere are two thing holding me back from using flutter:
- there is no clean way of parsing json objects (what app doesnt consume some sort of api), there is only stupid code generation bs which completely messes up your beautiful code structure.
- handling state and viewmodels is a pain in the ass in flutter. idk why google doesnt make it as clean as in native android (mvvm...)
The concept of flutter is okay, the opinionated UI language is nice. BLOC as state management sucks. I much prefer RN functional components over Flutter classes.
Ответитьthanks nerd
ОтветитьI used pretty much everything related to mobile since 2014.
I started with Flutter since beta til today. Never used it in a comoany, just in personal projects.
Because of that, some companies rejected me (despite I had real commercial experiencia with my own apps).
In other interviews they asked me stupid and useless questions like "how milliseconds they build will take if I do this".
This is one of the best tools you can use for apps.
Amazing video! I like Dart and Flutter too, I like its syntax and the Design Style of Widgets, Dart made me love typed languages and it is really fast to build a functional app or MVP, totally agree with you 😄
In the company I'm working on, I decided to use Flutter for a mobile app, and I deliver things so fast and it is comfortable to develop
Flutter might be good solution for newcomer and fresh start projects, but for me the argument of the OP still stands especially for full time seeker since the job market not so Flutter friendly these days. Don't get me wrong I always love flutter than React Native on most cases except this one
ОтветитьThank you for being logical in your explanations. Opinionated videos are growing and we need more logical ones. The ones which can actually solve problems
ОтветитьSeems like you don't know RN
ОтветитьDart is sooo much not typescript, C# is simular to Dart, but not typescript.
Ответитьstop being a b~~~~ and just learn flutter and react
ОтветитьMy biggest gripe with flutter is styling is so damn difficult and the class structure is just bad, it actually took me more time to use flutter then to actually use react native which was a remarkably better experience coupled with ts
ОтветитьGuy: -I can't find a flutter job.
Typecraft: -Flutter isn't bad, it's cool.
What a moron, how is this even related?
bad framwork
ОтветитьFrom Native android I switched to Flutter, and I have no idea why native android is still alive o_O
ОтветитьWoah, you're like the next Fireship dude.
