Reviewing the Nextool Black Knight Multitool. A worthy follow-up to their Flagship Pro Multitool, the Black Knight features five of the most useful tools to me; pliers, blade, saw, bit driver, and large scissors, in a fairly easy to carry package. I have updated the list of budget multitools (some of the best ones are now sold by different brands which I have listed), see the text description box for info. Enjoy! :]
ОтветитьGreat video thanks. Nice tool.
Ответить😊😊C00l
ОтветитьI was excited about this until I saw the 'bit driver' isn't actually a part of the tool.
ОтветитьI’ll stick with my American made multitools.
Also, I wouldn’t like to have to get out the bit kit, and attach 2 pieces every time I need to use the screwdriver.
I will say that the scissor design is brilliant.
Thank you for the review! I laughed at 'easy wire', healthy self-criticism :') As a lefty, I was wondering if you could swap the blade and saw and that way make the blade locking? Or would it need more modifications?
ОтветитьDitch the bottle opener and make it a can opener, and add a full size metal file and I'm in.
ОтветитьIs the blade locking?
ОтветитьEverything you need for a basic multitool with the added bit set is sweet!!! And a pocket clip all for 32 beans? Crazy perfection for edc
ОтветитьWhen using the scissors the stopper get out of place on mine. Any advice?
ОтветитьAll these Multitools seem too good to be true...because they are, when it comes to materials. Compared to even the 420hc of Leatherman or Gerber the 3cr or at best 5cr is really not great. But design wise seems pretty good.
ОтветитьInteresting, I bought the NexTool Flagship Pro after you reviewed that, the non-locking blade being important for UK EDC to keep it legal, and the big shears were the draw for me, being the office First Aider. I also just ordered the Flagship Pro Mini, as a keychain EDC, liking the big one so much. I bought keychain bit driver as that's a current shortfall in my EDC. But you know, I might pick one of these up to keep in my car. EDC is good, but having tools and torches everywhere is even better.
ОтветитьI like to see all the different knife options. I have a small collection and was wondering what you thought of the junglas. Does your recommendation still stand for that knife? It is about 300 for a new one in Australia and I haven't had a knife that expensive before but think it would be nice to add to the collection and it ticks a lot of the boxes I am trying to fill including a nice sheath. For a custom kidex sheath on something the size of a esee 6 I would already be spending about 145 in Australia. The cost here are variable and some stuff is very expensive. Just want to keep making vampire stakes, because so far I haven't seen a vampire so I know that the stake project has been successful.
ОтветитьMulti tools are GREAT! I've had my Leatherman Wave for 20+ years and it's probably the tool I use the most around the house and office!
ОтветитьNot bad at all for the money man. Haven't really seen any that have been catching the eye lately.
👊💀
Interesting multi-tool. Thank you Brother.
Ответитьwould you recommend taking this tool on a space mission?
Ответитьmulti tools are generally less effective than traditional tools but they give the user a lot more options.
ОтветитьThanks for the review. I've been looking at getting this but still haven't decided. The bit kit adaptor also fits on the leatherman ST300 etc that have the square Phillips really well so you then have access to 1/4" bits without having to get the leatherman bit driver kit. In Oz, it's $65 so a $30 tool gets you a spare tool and extra bits for some leathermans.
ОтветитьThere is no other man on this earth that paper fears the most.
Juggler when it comes to slicing A4 there is no one better than yourself.
The crisp sound it makes brings a smile to my dial!
Great review.
Looks decent value for money. Cheers.
ОтветитьGreat review.. Can you do a review of the nextool sailor pro.. 😊 thanks
ОтветитьDitch the cap lifter for a can opener, and add a small phillips and we all set. I bought the other tool you vided about, with the sheers, and it's pretty good, ( Professional is the only brand on it).
ОтветитьThis looks like a cool multi tool! Very interesting set up but this does have a Lot! Especially for how compact it seems
ОтветитьIt looks very nice! I like the tool set. My preferred pliers test is to use them as tweezers and see if you can use them to grab an individual arm hair and if you can pull the hair, it means they are precisely made.
Did the oxide finish wear off on the saw after the ferro rod test?
How much does it weigh?
i never was a leatherman fan..or multitool..however you name it..but i carry the small leatherman style..this is enough leatherman for me..but i must say i like this nextool black knight..on certain jobs..i would like to carry one..but in my daily life..my mini multitool is enough..greetings uddo
ОтветитьThanks! your multitool reviews are the best on the net. I like this Black Knight. Pretty good for only $32. (That bit driver looks like a 1/4" shank, right?) Keep these reviews coming...
ОтветитьA step in the right direction. Needs that lock though for sure. I also wish it was 10-20% smaller. How is the saw compared to a Sidekick?
ОтветитьWow
