Fun fact, kiana is the unknown god after she breaks free from the cacoon, so you’re welcome that’s the story in how we got here. Paimon is a primordial but lost power do to either saving kiana from the cacoon, or destroying the cacoon to stop kiana from building up her strength as she may become too powerful. In the end paimon “loses” memory as she is tinier because of the usage of her power. And so on and so on, we go and grow along paimon, but she does too and will have us as an ally

This actual makes so much sense. Also, in Aethers idle animation, he summons these blue and purple symbols that look like constellations. And where do you find constellations? IN SPACE! I feel like this also kind of proves he is the god of space.

things like that can happen not because of parallel worlds, but more towards production efficiency, everyone also knows that making games is not easy, especially with stories and various knick-knacks in it that can drain the brain and energy if remade differently, therefore it's better to take an existing character then change it a little bit it will be more efficient, all of that is business and back again if you do business you have to prioritize efficiency so you don't lose money
