Without containers below decks (in the holds) the ship would capsize.
ОтветитьA great look at what most of us never think about. Very complicated stuff on these ships, it must take a good amount of crew to make it all happen. The people that work on these must have to get some comprehensive training, those that maintain all this complicated machinery ditto. We almost never hear of disasters regarding these container ships so that is a good thing and a credit to the men and women who work on these.
ОтветитьI was on a Navy frigate for three years. This ship looks like a luxury liner by comparison.
ОтветитьFascinating!
ОтветитьThank you for posting. I enjoyed very much.
Ответитьstupid, annoying, unbearable music, instead of original ship-sounds. nobody is interested in your taste in music. NOBODY! if i want music, i will find music.
ОтветитьI never want to go out to sea. But the sea and these giant cargo ships just fascinate me no end. Thank you so much. Show more next time, e.g., the galley. Bye, bye. Happy sailing.
ОтветитьThank you for a great video ...a truly great feat of construction .
Ответить😍😍😍👍👍👍
ОтветитьIncredible.
ОтветитьThank you, thank you, thank you for showing your world to us!
ОтветитьI noticed some wild birds (a finch) on board. Do they stay with you over the whole voyage or were you close to land?
ОтветитьThanks for the video
ОтветитьShip's is my home and the sea is my playground...
Seamen never says goodbye...
Five year ago i woke on maersk garonne seam this ship
ОтветитьIf the cabin of a second officer look like this what will be the captain's cabin , it is incredible
Ответитьthis is great!! I love this!!😀😀👍👍👍
ОтветитьCurious- how hard is it to get a job and start out as an able seaman? Wonderful video.
ОтветитьNo disrespect but if it weren’t for the crew working hard too then the ship couldn’t complete its task. So I feel that the crew should get the same accommodations as the officers because they all work together as a team to get the job done. Can we stop giving less to the ones that make less, because sometimes (not all) they work physically harder than the officers so why don’t they deserve the best too? I wish we would stop treating others this way.
ОтветитьWhere is everyone?
ОтветитьIt's one of the best Cargo Ship videos.
ОтветитьA story beautifully told! Nothing else need be said.
ОтветитьThe whole scale of the operation is mind blowing.
ОтветитьThere are over 500 starfish in the bathroom drawer.
ОтветитьI have watched many videos like this. Every time they are at sea and no one is around. Does everyone go hiding when the camera is on?

ОтветитьIts a beautiful ship but id still be scared on it.
ОтветитьWhat a great and educational video. Makes you appreciate what incredible things humans can do/make when they pull together, instead of fussin’ ‘n’ fighting. Such a concise tour. Thanks! Whoever painted that banana yellow mettle work made a right mess of the red paint on the deck. Hope he/she got a roasting 😝
ОтветитьHii , what's your Instagram id?
ОтветитьThank you for the tour. You are welcome to the port of Santos (Brazil). Best regards!
ОтветитьTerrific tour. Well done.
ОтветитьI was on the Maersk Missouri for 8 years.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьWhat an amazing place to work!
ОтветитьWhen I saw the red floor in the engine room, for a second I expected Walter and Jesse to suddenly pop up in the frame😆
ОтветитьDude...I watch a lot of maritime and seafaring videos...your's is great and most importantly you've chosen the BEST music to capture the drama and beauty of it all. Thanks for sharing your experience(s) with the rest of us non-seafaring land-rats!
ОтветитьAh I was wondering if they used twist locks to hold the containers to one another while stacked, I was wondering how they secured those locks on those huge stacks, its the first time ive seen anyone video the bloke in the man cage hanging from the crane going along the stacks flicking those locks, unreal cheers, mystery solved.
ОтветитьBeautifully done
ОтветитьI farted 13 times watching this
ОтветитьGreat video 😊! Question: what exactly is the "purifying room" used for? Let me know!
ОтветитьThanks brother,👏👏
Ответитьdo deckhands (work placement) get to have their own room on board too and what are the responsibilities of the deckhand if they are spending 1 year at sea? how often do you get off the ship when stopping at ports around the world? Did you ever get bored and how often did you get sea sick ?
Ответитьwell come .
many office withing this job😂
Informative and enjoyable documentary. Thank you❤
