I'm not really a fan of trikes or scooters but I like the Niken. It's closer to a motorcycle than those things imo. If it was so stable in the front that it doesn't lean then I wouldn't like it.
ОтветитьThat intro though😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьWent on a ride with a guy who had one of these. I had my doubts, but by the end of the ride and seeing how it took corners, I was sold. Thing rode like it was on rails
ОтветитьI felt like I just watched a Top Gear ep. I'm a bit shocked actually given this vid was three years ago. I'd totally have one by the way. Too many front wheel slides have made me a grandpa in corners. Give me an extra wheel and I'm likely to be a happy camper. Give me gyro's and robot extra stuff, maybe, but I'm not entirely sure I need it. Give me gyros and autodrive, and the bloody thing becomes a nifty get me places robot. Put a torquey electric motor in it, perhaps integrate into the wheels, well then, take me off road and let me sell my GSA 1250 (that I don't have).
Ответить2/5. Needs more wheels.
ОтветитьThus it was ever with Yamaha... the GTS1000 with it's funny (but fabulous, I owned one) front end got a 1000cc 5 valve Genesis limited to 99hp, when the chassis could have taken much, much more
ОтветитьA slow motorcile ?
ОтветитьBeautiful area! The bike is ridiculous. I'd never had one
Ответитьthe cinematography ALONE is reason to watch these videos, and you nail everything i wanna know about the bike too? This channel is amazing.
Ответитьwhy not put the wheels on the outside?
ОтветитьThis might be interesting if they'd turn it into a weird looking naked bike with classic styling like it's some sorta dieselpunk monster from an alternate timeline.
ОтветитьAnother great video! My first bike was the Piaggio MP3 500. I rode that thing across 5 states and back. Not a good idea, not that the machine didn’t make it. It did and then some. The seat and riding position isn’t made for touring. I would still have it today, but it cost more every year to maintain. This Yamaha I’ve seen at the dealers. It just looks ugly to me. Dual shocks? You have that much more maintenance to do, pay for.
ОтветитьI think it's stupid. I think it should have stayed a prototype.
ОтветитьIt does everything everybody else was trying to do with trikes but completely uselessly
ОтветитьThe dumbest motorcycle of all time. Would a risktaking, adventurous motorcycle wanabe want to ride a tricycle? Hell no!
Ответитьi wonder if someone used to Nikens only could switch to a regular one ... without crashing
Ответитьi actually plan to get it next year, it is actually my dream bike
ОтветитьJust brilliant 😊
ОтветитьHate to agree with an, ahem, "competing motovlogger," who is usually wrong, but he nailed it in saying the Niken is a motorcycle made BY engineers FOR engineers.
ОтветитьFuture classic that's for sure
ОтветитьI'm just imagining this bike saying "Ed...uuuard."
ОтветитьIn my country you can park with a motorcycle for free but with a niken you have to pay because it has got three wheels! That’s a major drawback!
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful place to ride
ОтветитьIt looks like if you let BIONICLE design a motorcycle and honestly I'm kinda here for it.
ОтветитьIt looks like a robotic gorilla
ОтветитьWelp, 3 years on, I aint seen diggidy sheeyit of this.
ОтветитьI thought I was watching Rick Mercer for a second there
ОтветитьHonda sushi pls
ОтветитьXD in Germany you can drive it with the car license.
Maybe they aimed for this because spend like 4000$ on a motocycle license isnt common any more.
Love the Rick Mercer rant references 🍁
ОтветитьGreat video! got myself a Kymco CV3 550cc because I simply don't have my motorcycle license yet, but I still yearn for tours. did my first 3k kms on it and absolutely hate it now! it made me forget to use so many motorcycle essentials, like shifting, the rear break with your foot or just.. motorcycling in general. that may all be because its "scooter" in its essence, yet there is something it has in common with the niken, and that's the fact that the front wheels are small, shaky, and invisible to the rider. while mine does lock in order to grand stability, I've found this feature to be unuseful. a sidestand is heaps easier and more reliable. riding this big rig feels like I'm riding in a game. the handlebar just swings, there's no resistance to it and the front Immediately responds to your input. at 160 km/h that bike makes you shit yourself, because the slightest movement makes your handlebars shake like crazy. you end up looking like a wet chihuahua on the highway. the only thing these bikes are, realistically good for, is for people that drive through oil and petrol regularly, cause god knows how bad I would've crashed if I had driven through that oil on the highway petrol station if I had a normal motorcycle. to each their own obviously, but if you're young and able... reconsider, cause there's a reason why the niken managed to drop in value when compared to the mt09
ОтветитьI don't know what percentage of your audience got the Les Mis reference, but I wanted to let you know that I appreciated it.
ОтветитьIt’s been 3 years and I have yet to see one of these in the wild. Did they get a recall? Are they still out there? Whooooo has one?
Ответитьit's too ugly I can't like it
ОтветитьThe Niken is my dream bike. I'm a big fan of reverse trikes
Ответитьhow to get demonetized in 20 seconds or less XD
ОтветитьImagine being the mechanic to change fork oil for this monster.
ОтветитьBest thing is I don't have exclusively pay to watch these excellent vidoes
Ответитьi laughed so godamn hard at that thing ripping a wheelie
ОтветитьYOU EVER RID A YAMAHA FJR 1300 RAT......YOU PUSSY COULDN'T EVEN TAKE IT Passed 150mph, frui6
Ответить25 seconds in and I'm already ded I can never unsee that
Ответитьthats the ugliest bike ive ever seen !!!
ОтветитьWhat a ridiculous sack of bolts and nuts.
ОтветитьWeirdest trike ever.
ОтветитьSuperb review...
Ответитьthe niken's front looks like the transformers skating but the shorter ones like the twins
Ответить
