You’re a real car veteran when you have multiple 10mm in your toolbox.
ОтветитьObnoxious.
ОтветитьI'm a newer car guy with a veteran mindset but that's because my dad and grandpa are veterans
ОтветитьHaving a more affordable car vs. a super car is more realistic if you actually plan to drive your car. Not saying super car owners don’t drive them but you get more mileage off of a custom affordable car that you can maintain easier. Tires are expensive either way and will always need to be changed. Im more about the smiles per mile and getting the best bang for buck. Theres too many hoops to jump through with super cars and scheduling issues. It’s like the FPV drone scene. Either fly DJI get all the bells and whistles, use money to solve your problem, wait to get it fixed, or hassle to get it done yourself. VS. built FPV where you gain the skills and flexibility but has a high learning curve. But once built up you have more options, tools, and skills.
ОтветитьMy car has no mods because its my daily, and i cant afford to buy another project car. I do all of the work myself on it because i cant afford to take it to the shop.
Ответитьnice drifting,, turn on 3rd person camera next time for a better angle of the action. Triangle on Playstation or Y on Xbox.
ОтветитьI'm likely gonna get a GLS 63 AMG since I'm liking my GL550
Ответить"Your first car is a grocery getter"
Me with a 2013 GL550 that is fast af
I got my licence a year ago. I own a Audi TT S-Line from 2007. I have a bit of money and want to get myself a MX5 of the weaker variant and just do some bodymods.
ОтветитьAfter this video, I find that my neck and my brain are 45 degrees tilted in different directions
Ответитьas a redneck who drinks moutain dew 24/7 i do love a c6 corrvete but i perfer pickup trucks no hate great channel!
ОтветитьLuv bladed, like the big brother I needed to get into more cars and such
ОтветитьNissan 350z is my dream car
Ответитьhere's my approach, get upgrades before you get mods
ОтветитьA “real car veteran” is a subjective statement. If you love cars it doesn’t matter and you should feel no need to live up to others standards. You need to reinforce this statement because you really are acting as a gatekeeper.
ОтветитьI thought I wanted a Lamborghini when I was a kid but I would never want to own one for multiple reasons. Now I like red Ford trucks, I started with a red 2003 f150, now I have a red 2012 f150 twin turbo, eventually I'd like a red SVT lightning. (Fast and furious truck) 😂 and I like little rice cars that get good gas mileage
ОтветитьI appreciated that Black Ops reference!
ОтветитьIve got a clapped z31 and im on like my 3rd engine rebuild already but its taught me alot and thats the thing now i can rip the whole thing apart and put it back together its all just experience
ОтветитьIf you can’t change your own oil or brakes you are NOT a car guy.
ОтветитьWhy are the subtitles acting weird?
ОтветитьYoooooo, someone’s drifting a 300zx!! I love the z31
ОтветитьI did one mistake by buying a Skyline as soonest i got my license and crashed because i wasnt used to drive cars
ОтветитьCall me an idiot, but I really took a liking in Mazda 3 and I plan to buy one 2 or 3 years old just to get a better bank for the buck and build on it for years to come. I am really glad there is a model on gasoline with a manual transmission. 😇
ОтветитьMy first cars is a 1997 Mitsubishi 3000gt
ОтветитьI just got my car as a beginner but dude I have zero clue where to start I have an Infiniti i30t and I want it to look cool but there’s things messed up on it and etc yet I’m too scared to do anything on it
ОтветитьWhere do i learn to fix my car
ОтветитьGot a "build" i dont like it but its a build xD
ОтветитьNew car guys : straight pipe
Vet car guy: catback exauhst
Ive been wanting to learn to work on cars for a decent while, but it seems pretty daunting
Ответить1:Honda or any JDM car is the best. Veteran car guys can appreciate models regardless of the make.
2: Noob expects unrealistic hp gains for modifications like intake or exhaust.
3:Noob claims HP of their car without dyno proof
4:Noob thinks AWD is the most superior platform for racing on asphalt. F1, NASCAR, topfuel dragsters are RWD for a reason.
5: 1/4 mile times printed in a magazine match real life results involving normal people
6: Noob can’t explain HP vs Torque
7: Tints taillights and paints wheels black as first mods
I'm glad you like that anime character but I mean not "Ino" from Naruto?
ОтветитьThe cc is f’ed
ОтветитьFirst time i considered myself a car guy, is when i bought my project car to fix up. I learnt so much in such a short time, from trying it myself, to asking around on forums and figuring it out. And then i got it in my head i wanted a different engine... bought one 2nd hand. It was stripped down all the way... and i built it.... it hasnt run yet cuz im missing some parts, but i built my first engine...If you`d had told me 5 years ago i was gonna do that, i wouldn`t have beleived you. Moral of the story here is, if you`re serious about something, spend the time and research into it, and don`t doubt yourself. Ask around and as Bladed said, there`s always people around that know more and want to help
ОтветитьLaneir raceway
ОтветитьYay for me not being a noob car guy with my first car.
Me and a friend both own a sedan e46. We're both into cars, have our own taste with fancy stuff. But I feel like if I had more tools, I'd just do all the shit my car needs myself.
I mean me and my friend have different personalities. But I like tinkering, I like taking shit apart and putting back together. Just last night, I was like, I need to get my headlights sorted, I had already got some parts and whatnot and I did it. I took these bits apart, cleaned them, and now I actually have headlights that work normally, and I feel so much better than to have had to give some old annoyed man that would over charge me, for something I figured out how to do on my own.
i love itasha
ОтветитьYou driving da 86? 🧐
Ответитьthis guy creates the car guys rules
ОтветитьCan't say I went through the drooling over supercars or expensive cars phase, always had my dream car decided and it's nothing special really, just depends on a person's taste
Ответитьif i had a car i think i would choose an awd car not a suv or crossover though i may start with it to know how to handle a awd car
ОтветитьMan, even though I replaced and repaired all the front control and suspension pieces in my truck. I still dont have the car to make me any more advanced of a car guy.
ОтветитьI've always wanted a DeLorean and could have put myself in debt just to get one but with how hard they are to get, scarcity of parts and all the known problems they have has always kept me from dropping a ton of money on one. I still want one but it's just really hard to justify.
Hell, when I bought my Camaro the salesman asked if there was something wrong while I was walking around it on my phone. I told him I was looking for replacement cost for parts like tires and such. This got me even more weird looks and he said "But the tires were new?". I looked at him and said, yeah but I'm going to have to replace them at some point and the difference between buying 4 tires for 19" rims is A LOT different than the cost for a staggered 20" & 21" rim configuration. He just looked at me and said "I never thought about that". I just laughed, lol!! 😂
Yo I learned to work on cars first. I still don’t have my dream car lol. Benefits of loving to drive and being kinda poor but liking the work. My best story is chicken wiring a transmission back together in a hotel parking lot in Nebraska, because the connection pin broke. When I was taking a suv to my bro in South Dakota.
ОтветитьI think being humble and authentic is the only real way to live, thrive. Honestly you shouldn't have to make a video for the spiritually unawakened. It's not your responsibility. Overall i enjoyed the video.
Ответитьhave a beater to put miles on/ ride when the fancy one breaks or is disassembled.
ОтветитьThe first car i got shortly after getting my license this year was a Hellcat Challenger. Spent months researching it and it's the only car ill ever want.
ОтветитьBrand new car guy here, but ive never admired super cars. I dont like that "sleak" look. It seems feminine to me. I got a 2014 Mustang because the s550 after that all adopted a more sleak look and didnt look anything like my dream car (1969 Mustang). I would absolutely never buy a corvette or any super car. Those things looks like something my wife would look good in... but to each their own. I dont have any intentions of ever selling my Mustang. Its my first real car after the Nissan sentra my parents gave me in college, but I intend to run it until its last mile. My Mustang isn't breaking any records and im not trying to make better lap times and all these things. I like that it has more power than the average grocery getter and its a beautiful platform. I have 80% cosmetics 20% performance upgrades... you might call that a ricer... but I dont care. Im the one driving that MF and paying for it 💪
ОтветитьI’m a beginner car guy to the max. Most I can do is change oil reliably. I have two dreams regarding my cars, my fun car and my fancy car.
My fun car would be something under 40k that I could work on as I please, tricking out for track use as I want. I’m not quite sure what exactly yet, though.
My fancy car would be a pristine-looking SUV with a beautiful interior, with a focus on tailoring the inside to be as cozy as possible. This would be what I use for my daily activities and other hobbies.
That’s my dream, anyways. What’s all of y’all’s?
True, if you have the knowledge and experience to tell whether a part you need is good or bad quality, then whether you buy it new, or salvage it from a car wreck, it makes no difference. The more you save, the more you can buy.
