My Greek teacher made me listen to it in the first year, to introduce Greek. I'm now in the second year and we need to learn and repeat the alphabet. Of course I use this song!

My only problem is you're pronouncing chi like 'ki' - which my teacher and classmates did all last year (when the song would have been more useful, but better late than never, I suppose)... I'm a Gaelic-speaker, so the glottal CH sound is natural for me but notoriously difficult for most English-speakers, so it's a common bother for me... in Hebrew, as well.

Thanks for this, but I already sing to the standard "Twinkle". To each his own; my wife gives me weird looks when I sing it, though.

You are correct Rolando - I mention "Erasmian" in the description. I added the "koine" to the title because I was getting so many negative comments from native Greek speakers, so I just wanted to clarify in the title that I wasn't doing the modern Greek alphabet
