How to set up OBS for VR recording and streaming

Is there a way to make head movement smoothing like it does natively in the Oculus recording?

I downloaded obs but when i got to the part where i need to choose vr monitor vr view for window i dont have that option i only have [steamwebhelper.exe:steam]. Help please! Thank you!

Hey, whenever I tried to record on Steam VR on my Oculus Quest 2, the audio was messed up and sounded like a microwave, do you know how to fix this

Must be nice living in a world where you plug in something and it magically works.
I don't live in that world.
SteamVR doesn't recognize my oculus quest 2, so all I get is the black screen of death.

when i clicked use specific window, even when headset was connected, it didnt allow me to click on vr view HELP??

This does work but i have a problem i bought my games on the oculus store and not steam is there still a way i can put my vr screen in to obs

Thank you very much, that has helped me a lot! When recording is always the base screen resolution of the primary monitor used, which has me only 1920x1080? The VR glasses HP Reverb G2 would have a higher resolution of 2160x2160 pixels per eye. Is the VR image always recorded at 1920x1080? How is that with you? Could you change that - recording 1:1 from the VR image 2160x2160? Would this increase the field of view in the video? I use only VR for simracing. greetings Nik
