Good to have the Electricity for LNG as well as the Power Grid. Cheaper Electricity for all Canadians should be a priority , especially with that Bozo Trump back in power in the USA!

China has 3.95 zettajoules of energy in its proven coal reserves. Saying offhandedly that China "will transition away from coal" is silly childish blabber along the lines of "eww you smoke you should stop" or "the gay guy is going to transition into being a girl."

I oppose anything Canada does refusing to help at tje border. More people are taking up this cause exponentially. Soon they will have no allies and the Canadian dollar will be MORE worthless. The only coin money in the world that sticks to a magnet. THE ONLY POLICIES THAT STICKS TO SCHITT.

I love the idea of the Dam, especially with what is going on right now with Trump . we as Canadians need to ensure that we can build our GDP and try to do what is best for the environment at the same time. If we can transport LNG to Asia and help them reduce the need for cola, this is overall much better for planet earth and Canadians profit at the same time. If the electricity required to prepare the LNG for transport is clean hydro electricity, than this is a win win for BC, for Canada and for the planet. We all need to start thinking about the bigger picture. Finally, it means that we can be less dependent on the USA to ship our goods...and that feels great to me as a Canadian.

All in favour of becoming as energy sufficient as we possibly can be. If we don't have an immediate need for it, we can sell it to other provinces or the US and keep taxes lower.

i live in this region. You don't see it in the video but there is a highway that runs through the valley before site c. Several sections of the road would've been underwater, so they logged all the trees in the valley, built roads at higher elevations and 3 or 4 bridges to cross over the now flooded valley. Driving the valley is very beautiful in the summer. Its been very surreal to come back to it last summer and see it flooded with water

We need more hydro because of the emerging of EV cars. Building dam is far slow than consumer buy more EV. LNG is our future for Canada. without site C LNG would not be possible and a loss of huge revenue for BC and Canada. This separation us from USA that a project with government company like BC hydro working to better our future.

I want to know how much area it is going to cover by a aerial view showing highways or homes, pipelines and such.... timber land. Especially land covered by timber never harvested so it can be used for good things like homes or businesses. Animals don't read the news so who is going to relocate the squirrel or fox, a coyotes who harvest dead animals from many things we are learning why they do exist. I know this is a good thing for canadians and jobs, but is it trading many other benefits like minerals that are in this area? I will try and find other newer videos of this, even tho I live in alaska, a born american who is proud to be a american at 75 years of age now. I know this prime minister was not involved in making some of the good in it as his agendas have disrupted many good possible things canada has to offer

The biggest problem with these projects and BC Hydro and LNG is that they are being built with a huge amount of public funds (that's your tax dollars) at a time when private corporations and right-wing politicians, media (and fucking Trump) are all pushing for privatization of government services (power supply is a service). Those HUGE profits that were mentioned, may not ever hit public accounts. We pay for construction and environmental damage, and private companies will walk away with the money. GREAT video - Thank you!

Hey guys, this is my opinion: Canada more specifically BC needs more electricity to hold all the current population that we have. If you ask me to say very smart, environmentally, friendly, and future sustainable project. Everybody needs to accept that the world is moving on into the future and we need more electricity for all the people that we will have. We need to accept this as it is our future and we need to know this the sooner we can get projects like this up and running the better. Now this would be different for projects that were less violent to sustainable as well as last economically sustainable. In my opinion, this is a great project and should not be cancelled and it should definitely keep on going Godspeed.

The only real concern is Treaty 8.Other than that the generation of clean energy outweighs the negatives, especially considering that it is pretty much reusing water to generate electricity. Also why is selling LNG generated using clean energy a negative?????? It's a huge boost to the economy and although not fully clean it is definitely a cleaner source of energy for wherever it is going to be exported to.

2024 Alberta was heading to drought, every river was runing 33% less, we had less snow but luckily we had more rains, but we not had dam to store that water, since snow will be less every year and more rain we should have dam in Alberta as well for our irrigation, in future say next 30 years we will have irrigation land.

Construction can't stop. If BR goes up, there may be other ways since this area is large in Canada, but it's nonsense to say construction can't stop from the start. The public opinion that is being created by talking about budgetary issues is actually based on ignorance of the BR (bromine) concentrations in other lakes and numerous beaches within Canada. I hope you won't be persuaded. This is just a scheme by someone who knows Canadian Geography and knows political mechanisms. The construction can't stop. Canada must know BR concentration and CI. That is because Mexico is short of water, and Canada has a lot of water, but if they can't manage it, they will try to conquer the government. I predicted that they would do that in a transcendental way from the beginning. No one thought it was important. If that means you're going to change the government, what would it be if it wasn't British territory? Even the US is making a fuss saying no? If you volunteer and drain the water, what would be left in Canada? I'm really ready to die, but I want to say this before I die. Where on earth have all the historical standards gone? They may remain silent to my questions forever. My dream was not Socrates or Jesus Christ But I have no choice have to this controversy.
