How to connect your phone apps to FORD SYNC

followed the initial steps but receive the message sync not connected on my i phone and don't receive a six digit code. I have tried everything!

What kind of synch is this looks nothing like my 2014 fusions

For me Apple car play pops up and that’s all. How do I get the apps ?

I’ve known how to do this for a while. It’s pretty simple to figure out. Just came across the video and figure WTH I’ll watch it. Good video. Anybody that’s saying you’re not giving good information is wrong. You’re video takes it step by step perfectly. Anyways, what drives me crazy is that with all the technology available these days. All these clowns designing cars still think we need to hook up a damn USB cable to use CarPlay or use any apps from our phone. How is this not a wireless option now!? Even if you had to use your hotspot from your phone to download the apps onto your truck, then use sync to control it via Bluetooth.That would be better than needing a dumb cable.

Tried to load you tube and netflix. Won’t load. There are only a handul of apps that are compatible with Fords sync3. Sync3 is pretty useless IMO. Such an expensive truck, and can’t download every day apps??? What a damn shame.
